Hey guys, I know there are a lot of members on here are knowledgeable in this area so thought someone might be able to give me some advice. My neighbours (a very nice retired couple) have asked me to look at their laptop for them as the screen is blank white (lighting up) and has pale blue lines going across it. I opened the lid to ensure the ribbon cable was clipped in properly and it appears to be. I connected it to an external screen and it is displaying fine. Am i to assume the laptop screen is screwed? I looked at the mother board to try and work out where the ribbon cable goes there but wasn't 100% sure. I just tried to ensure all 'clips' were secure. Any advice to save them forking out for a new computer would be great. Thanks in advance!
