  1. Great work, must have been slightly heart breaking to take it back to (almost) standard. What have you got your eye on next?
  2. It's definately on my shoping list, just blown a load on new brakes and exhaust though so need to save up first!
  3. Looks great Struan. I think I need some detailing lessons!
  4. What did you prefer about your MY03 to MY06, or was it just it was your first love? Primarily the torque characteristics of the 276 seemed better suited to the 350 on the B roads and I was also concerned at the oil consumption of the 296 - OK that may not be a long term issue but when the previous ZED used zero oil between services it just didn't feel right and what with the absolute dipstick who designed it - checking the actual oil level was never the easiest of tasks. The 'facelift' improvements that came with the MY06 were a good step up but overall as I have the car for the driving pleasure it came back to the power delivery, for me. That's intersting Colin, hadn't realised the torque difference between models was so noticeable. Luckily my MY06 doesn't seem to use much oil, but I agree they could not have designed a worse dip stick.
  5. What did you prefer about your MY03 to MY06, or was it just it was your first love?
  6. Was that to raise some capital to fund his hair dressing course?
  7. How much of a discount is that off list price?
  8. Welcome Jon, great to see a newbie who's done a bit of homework!
  9. They can look flat in photos, but when you see a well polished one in the metal they look awesome. Personally I love the brutish simiplicity of the 350Z. The lines are simple, not fussy, which to me suits the personality of the car. The 370Z is undoubtedly a better looking car BUT it's almost a bit too pretty. I suspect in 20 or so years time when these cars are entering classic status the original 350Z will be viewed as the 'purer' original.
  10. Should be covered as long as you've got 3rd party, fire and theft insurance
  11. The Zed is the only one designed from the ground up as a dedicated sports car. So for those that value practicality over style and exclusivity, it's a poor choice.
  12. Welcome to the forum, seems to be a fair few RX8 owners upgrading to a Zed at the mo
  13. It had an exhaust? That narrows it down
  14. That's already looking pretty shiny! Just keep doing what you're doing!
  15. One exhaust pipe = 180 bhp model Two exhaust pipes = 225 bhp model Never owned a TT but had the same 225 bhp engine in my old Cupra R and its a great engine. Totally different to a Zed though.
  16. Not me I'm afraid, must have been my evil twin!
  17. I've just got 20mm all round which works pretty well with the rays alloys. Some prefer 25mm on the rear though, so they wheels sit flush with the arches!
  18. Welcome. Love that colour with the Nismo kit, you must be really happy. Just get some spacers to give a more agressive stance and it will look even better!
  19. 3 points for doing 72 in a 60, just after I'd got the Zed last June.
  20. Chiili Red has custom made ones for £220. I've got one and it's going on (with a Scorpion) on Thursday
  21. read it all, get confused and just buy a scorpion. i'd bet a fiver you end up with a scorpion Exactly what I've done, getting it fitted on Thursday
