  1. How come the 370Z responds so well to mods ? 40+ bhp for a 350Z would require some major modifications.
  2. +1 Even his his Puma was twice as fast as a Zed I'd still rather be driving the Zed.
  3. I'm not as much of a TG fan as I used to be, but it's one of the very few cars shows and I would have the current format than nothing at all.
  4. Thanks Martin, but not sure any of those are Rota GTRs
  5. Anyone got pics of Rota GTRs on their Black Zed? In particular interested in the gun metal or possibly even [chav]black with a red lip[/chav].
  6. This is just so wrong...... http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default ... ryId=23102
  7. 1. Scootg - 2 Tickets - No Track Time. 2.magic84 2.one ticket. . no track time 3. CaptainSensible. One ticket. Would be interested in track time.
  8. Does anyone know if resonated cats will pass an MOT?
  9. Really? First time I've ever heard that. 75kgs is a lot! Welcome by the way to the OP
  10. Surely with tighter emissions regulations, fuel prices rising etc. the days of large engined cars with lots of cylinders are numbered.
  11. I’ve just been pondering this. To me there are several ingredients to make a car a true classic, and the Zed ticks all the boxes. A niche market – the Zed is not a mainstream car. It’s impractical, noisy, and a bit extreme for most people. Few would consider one as their daily driver. Low production numbers - there are comparatively few around. It’s pretty unusual I ever see another Zed when I am on my travels. No new (350) Zeds are being made. Unusual styling – most modern cars look pretty bland to me. The Zed is very distinctive. It’s never going to win a beauty contest but it is striking. Speed – unless it’s a very quirky or ground breaking design I think most classics need to have performance credentials. Classic performance cars are usually lauded for the way they drive rather than their outright speed. I think the Zed ticks that box. I believe that in a few years that the 350Z will be revered as one of the last of a dying breed, namely the hairy chested sports car. I will be proud to say I owned one.
  12. (awaits the 276 bhp boys to turn up and start harping on about torque)
  13. Why not spend £10k on a Zed for weekends and have a £3/4k TDI to cover long journeys? Best of both worlds.
  14. I'm pretty sure at the end of the last series of Fifth Gear they said they would be back for a new series later in the year.
  15. Hi mate, I went from 225 Cupra to the zed and its definitely a step up. You'll learn a completely new style of driving with it being rwd and you really won't want any more power to start with
  16. Thanks for taking the time to post. If you don't mind me asking did you manage to get any price reduction on the 370z? They don't seem to be selling anywhere near as well as the 350Z did.
  17. You'll still get a bit of squeal from Ferrodos but its not too bad (doesn't bother me anyway).
  18. Rising fuel costs will stop people driving as much (for all cars) but will never stop them driving completely.
  19. With my Scorpion and y-pipe I was 89db meansured at Castle Coomb so you'll have no problem.
  20. I saw it as well and it was Andy's old one. Didn't see any other Zed's though (other than mine) and 1900bhp dragster in the show itself!
