Hated these cars a year ago. They do grow on you though. Really like yours, damn fine.

Thanks, they can look awful, seen a couple recently that have been crashed through the rip speed aisle at halfords and it would put me off buying one if I saw one like that ha..

 

I did a bit more bay work, vinyl wrapped the rear covers and headlight inner sides to body colour, attempted to polish the front cover but it's tough with it in situ. Loom tucks next I think!

 

 

 

And I made a false floor for the air kit to mount onto, 5mm plywood bonded onto some 10mm foam tile, to reduce vibration and damp out compressor noise, covered in grey carpet fabric and finished with a few stainless bolts.

It's basic but it's going to be under the boot liner anyway.

8 hours Monday, 14 hours Tuesday. Spent Wednesday half asleep and jittery, but the air lift kit is all done.

The matt champagne silver is amazing.

Really sets off the polished lips.

Best finish by far out of the other finishes the wheels previously had.

Also ties in well with the bodywork paint
