Jared350z Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 I wanted to share that yesterday Ian came first at the second round of the Extreme torque drift vent also picking a tidy £1000 prize on top of it. I've had the pleasure of watching the full build of his car on here and slowly watching it transform. The first time I got to see the car in the flesh was at round one at Sunderland nissan factory, Even then when it wasn't complete it was still porn for the eyes. What was more impressive it was the first time Ian had driven the car and it didn't disappoint. So you can imagine when I saw it rock up in mancheser fully sprayed and sporting some sweet graphics, not going to lie I was eager to get him out on track. With a qualifying position of 4th Ian got a bye into the top 8, that's when it got interesting. Even though Ian's car looked like it had just come out of the awesome factory he did not shy away from getting as close to every wall and every driver. Which I love to see that even when a driver has built a beautiful car they are not afraid to push it. Once Ian met matt kerr in the final, Ian picked up a nice big tyre mark on his rear quarter from matt just showing how close they was getting to each other! After a one more time call from the judges Ian pulled out the win. It was great to see the car holding it together. Just need to wack those shotguns on to hear that LS3 roar!! Well done dude, see you soon. 3 Quote
