how can you tell a fake Nismo radiator cap?

I'm with Vlad on this one ~ it's a radiator cap after all.

 

As long as it holds pressure and works to the 1.3bar it states it should then I'd take a £15 fake Nismo cap any day over the real deal £85 Nismo cap. Just means £75 more cash in my pocket for genuine decent mods or fuel of course.

All these fake caps are just basic plain 1.3 bar caps with stickers on them, they're perfectly safe. Stick it on and be done with it

Personally, I'd go and buy a roll of Nismo stickers for £2 and put one of those on a standard cap and be done with it. Unless you're having overheating issues, then a rad cap is for dress-up only.
