Elgrandman Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 (edited) I hope you lo-slung people will accept at least an 'associate' member? I own a 2002 Elgrand Van. But it has the same 3.5 V6 engine as the 350Z! I'd been looking for a while at the Skyline version and am previous Nissan (and Lexus LS400) owner. Other Nissan was the S-Cargo! great fun car! I hope to find useful Nissan contacts on here. There's a clue in the story! Sorry! See // post! For full story!! Edited December 8, 2013 by Elgrandman Quote

Lexx Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 I've got a soft spot for the E51. I almost bought one when the twins were born. But the couple I went to look at were dogs. I've removed your other welcome post as it was a duplicate. Quote
GMballistic Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Had to zoom that by 200% to even read it. Welcome aboard Elgrandman. 5 Months of waiting! Bit annoying/frustrating but I bet it'll be worth it. My mate imported his JDM Impreza from Japan to the UK and that took around 5/6 months as well. Seems to be the norm. Quote
a2orry Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Hello I think the engine has different tuning 240bhp Can you imagine a twin turbo set up for 500bhp in a van . Big build thread on the way Quote
SkylineV35 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Nice import mate! I have the skyline you were talking about Quote
Briggsybriggs1 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 That looks ??? But the engine is spot on :-) welcome along Quote
Lexx Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 That's an e50 will. Doesn't have the VQ engine in that. Quote
brillomaster Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 hell yes, that looks very cool IMO. and a bit mental, honestly, who puts a 3.5 litre V6 in a people carrier! Welcome to the forum! Quote
WhackyWill Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 (edited) That's an e50 will. Doesn't have the VQ engine in that. I bow to your superior knowledge Lexx. It just looked similar. Edited December 9, 2013 by WhackyWill Quote

Like the 350 compared to 370 if you like. The E52 is out now, but I think there are only about 3 in the UK. 1 Quote

Didn't they put the vq into the espace too? seems they did, but we already know that renault used to be mental... a mid engined rwd clio sees to that! however, i'd rather some proper JDM styling than a boggo espace, even if both can be had with a VQ35 engine!
