JetSet Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Hard to believe its cheaper than a 370z Unless I'm missing something, the basic model is $57k , a basic 370Z is $28k or so . Nice motor though. Pete Quote

Yeah, I misread the basic price it's actually $52k and a fully loaded 370Z is $38k so not a big a difference as I first thought. It's also Considerably cheaper (and faster) than The Cayman S which is $63k. Pete Quote
WhackyWill Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 And they have now made their cars to go around corners fairly well... Quote
Ekona Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Will it be sold in the UK? Yup. http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=27942 £61.5K, but that's with the Z51 pack as standard. There is no better performance bargain available in the UK today. Quote
Katy Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Will it be sold in the UK? Starts at £61,495 http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/uk-pricing-new-chevrolet-c7-corvette-stingray-announced Quote
HaydnH Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Christ! Twice the price over here than in the US? If you could get shipping including insurance for US$2k you'd save about £15k even after paying import duty and VAT!! Quote
ioneabee Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 and right hand drive ..................... maybe http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/detroit-motor-show/detroit-show-2013-right-hand-drive-corvette-planned Quote
Ekona Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 If they do, I'll buy one. That's a promise. But they won't. So I won't. Quote

Ekona Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Nope. Not with how much the GTR now costs and the bland interior, this is still a much more exciting car. So ner. Quote
The G Man Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Having just been out in a GTR track pack version, I doubt if this Vette could even begin to cope with the handling that the GTR offers. A rhd version . That's the funniest I've read all day. As for the OP alluding to the same cost as a 370, that's the second funniest thing I've read all day, all year actually Quote
