Ekona Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Any chance we could change the  smiley code back to instead of the word 'wink' wrapped in semi-colons? Would make life an awful lot easier, especially for those on Apple devices who don't have access to the smiley list. Quote
The Bounty Bar Kid Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Those on android can access the smiley buttons! 1 Quote

Ekona Posted December 30, 2012 Author Posted December 30, 2012 Any chance of this then Mr Admins pretty please? While we're here, and on a related note, when you click the smiley button and then 'Show All', is there anyway to make the window slightly wider by default? Right now it opens but you need to either scroll right or widen it yourself to see both smiley and the code so you know which you to pick. Would be easier if it showed them both straight off. Quote

Glad I'm not the only one finding this. It is part of a bigger issue with the emotions is that is on the snagging list to sort so I'm sure it will be fixed as soon as Chesterfield can find the time. At the moment though the priority is sorting the reason for the forum not being accessible at times 1 Quote
Ekona Posted December 30, 2012 Author Posted December 30, 2012 Absolutely, couldn't agree more Colin. I just like being that annoying kid at the back of the class that keeps piping up with the same question every now and then, wearing the teacher down with irritation to get his own way Quote
Chesterfield Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 now done. Will look into widening the popup box - its a couple of the smilies that need the box to be wider, had a quick look into the templates that control this, but they didnt seem to take effect when I made the changes - think its caching the CSS for the box somewhere. Flex Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Obviously those involved in the beta testing were a bit lazy Obv, I'm joking Quote
Vik54 Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 My smilies aren't working at all... what have I done? Quote
Ekona Posted June 30, 2013 Author Posted June 30, 2013 Got a box ticked wrong in the reply page? Quote
Vik54 Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 aha - if I type them is ok but I can't remember them all Quote
HaydnH Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 The 1 that annoys me is the "cool" b ) smiley, if you're creating a list it's awkward: a) foo baa c) grrrr Quote

Ekona Posted July 3, 2013 Author Posted July 3, 2013 Just do this: 1) 2) 3) Job's an orange root vegetable Quote
HaydnH Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 I dunno, I prefer 1,2,3 for an individual list but a,b,c for an "in paragraph" list usually, they just seem different. 1 Quote
