Bairdy Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Hi guys and girls, been watching this site for a wee while now and finally registered. Have been a member of type r scotland and fd2 owners for 4 years. Have got itchy feet as i have had my current car almost 4 years. had been looking a Z4m's exiges and sc elises, cayman s's after a drive in a 370z ticks most of my boxes. Running costs and insurance is comparable with my FD2. Just need to put her up for sale and look for a nice 370z. Heres a link to my current weekend toy if anybody wants a wee look. http://s381.photobucket.com/albums/oo25 ... d2%20pics/ Cheers folks Duncan Quote
Bairdy Posted February 11, 2012 Author Posted February 11, 2012 Thanks for the hearty welcome folks. Really looking forward to the test driving of cars- down sizing from a 4 seat fwd saloon (best car owned to date- sorry to see her go) to a rwd v6. Have already started moding- Zmanalex i could be a great customer bought my last car in perth and apart from A9 had great fun driving up that way. Keep looking at roadsters but don't see many white ones coming up for sale! Not wanting to buy new if possible prefer someone else to have taken the first hit Pro's and cons- coupe or roadster? cheers in advance Quote
spursmaddave Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Usual pros and cons for Roadsters, lovely in the summer In my opinion the Roadster only looks good with the roof down but if open air driving is your thing then go for it Quote
Cragus Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Welcome matey! One con to a roadster is that you live in Scotland and it is miserable all the time! Both decent cars mate - go for the one that floats your boat. I would go coupe everytime! Quote
Bairdy Posted February 12, 2012 Author Posted February 12, 2012 Very tidy fd2 mate What part u from? Thanks mate, will be a cracking car for next owner has never wanted for anything. Live down in Wigtown- Dumfries and Galloway. Have had some great runs down this way with TRS. Cheers for the comments coupe v roadster TBH for all the time i get a chance to take the car out i'm thinking roadster. Have down about 2.5k since april in the fd2 maybe a change will get me out more Quote
