sos Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Hi there .. anybody ever been locked out with a flat battery? Like many of you, I have trouble with flat battery when car has been in my garage used for a few weeks. Uptil now an overnight charge has done the job and I am off and running again ... until NOW that is! Just been in to move the car from the garage, and cannot unlock the door with the electronic key ... i assume cos the car battery is so flat. Tried both keys with same result. So, any clues how to get into the car to unlock the bonnet so as to charge the battery? Quote

rtbiscuit Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 worst case senario is that the codes have been lost and will need to be re coded, but i think you'll find if you use the "manual" unlock method and you pop the hood and recharge it that the fobs will work again. if you leave it for long periods i would invest in a trickle charger to keep it topped up all the time.
