Stew Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 I noticed who the seller is! The car is actually a 370Z Nismo but with aftermarket wheels. The car is a standard model in US. Quote

rtbiscuit Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 And guess who the seller is UV = Prestige?? = Rik?? = sh1t = poor service = no comeback = a black mark on the face of zed modding Quote
Millzzz Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Who exactly is the owner? Or is it a bit of an 'in the know' joke? Quote
rtbiscuit Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 to start with the picture is not of the owners car as far as i'm aware, they have nicked the picture off someone else. 2nd - the seller used to be a trader on here, but their products, services and general attitude sucked worse than a broken hoover. sasha@lazytrips Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 I've got to say that despite a few hiccups, on the whole Rik was pretty good with fitting my Do-Luck rear. The paintjob in particular was good and initially the lines were pretty crisp too. When I had to take it off and put it back on, a couple of the lines went off a little, but overall the job was alright, so he's not as bad as some on here would make out. Particularly given that most have never dealt with the guy. Note that I am in no way endorsing him or am in any way linked to him or his business. Quote
Chris`I Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 The main problem with Rik was inconsistency and lying, thats why things went on so long. There were people who had good experiences and those with bad, and when the bad outweighed the good by a long way, it was time for him to leave Quote
rtbiscuit Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 sasha you must have been lucky, as i did deal with him and have seen more of his bad work than his good work. the one thing with this forum is that not everyone likes to complain, especially when its a well known trader, i know several people who have had bad jobs done but never said anything. its a shame as i think sometimes there can be an unbalanced view of things which can result in more people loosing money when they shouldn't have too. and when anything bad is said all the coat tail clingers pipe up to defend their trader. but thats life i suppose. my advice is choose your trader carefully, do your research, pm long standing members and ask for reccomendations, the mod team as a colaboration all have expeirence of pretty much all traders and should be able to guide you in the right direction. also find other members who have had theo work done that you want and see where they bought it from/had it done. same as getting a building quote. speak to more than one person. get a balanced view. BulletMagnet Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Question is, why does the seller have to use pics from the US rather than actuall pics of the items he wants to sell.... Quote
Will370z Posted November 11, 2010 Author Posted November 11, 2010 Now Geoff posting car porn pics like that is just not fair, oh my that looks mighty fine. Quote
geoff-r Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Question is, why does the seller have to use pics from the US rather than actuall pics of the items he wants to sell.... I agree you do have to wonder don't you. I prefer the way of selling we have on here, user name and date on a piece of paper. No one wants to look at 'library' pictures of parts! Now Geoff posting car porn pics like that is just not fair, oh my that looks mighty fine. Haha I know Will, has to be done I think. I'll certainly look into it in the new year. Quote
