:welcome:

If you are here it means you've already made the choice. The right one i must say!

if you start looking out you should get a good one intime for our Wales pilgrimage :yahoo:

There are a few for sale in the forum and will always make asafe buy. If you are adventurous you should go for AdrainK's car and if is a bit hard core you can take off the upgraded bits which you will easily sell and replace the standard parts B) You will get help from lots in here to do any swaps for free ;)

Hi Fee!

I have just bought my 350Z (GT, blue, no mods - yet!) and absolutely love it.

Had thought about it for about a year and had also had similar thoughts re: TT, Z4 etc, but thought the Z was so much nicer, fun, and of course you don't see to many, especially driven by girls.

Went for a test drive and bought one same day! Picked it up last week and laughed for about the first 3 miles home, I loved it that much.

Insurance wasn't too astronomical, try running a comparison search then ring round some specialist companies, Adrian Flux sorted me a fab deal.

If you have any questions please ask, but the Z comes highly recommended from me!

Do the right thing and BUY ONE NOW

Tori

Some people have mentioned you may get a few heads turning. Try driving through a small village, sun is blazing but whilst waiting at the lights, people are crossing the road - and nine times out of ten people will always give your car a lookover!!

They will also look back once you leave the lights due to the pure harmonic sound the car emits, as the sounds bounces off the various buildings in the village.

I've had mine almost a year and the dam thing still makes me smile, purely by how rewarding the car is.

You put the other competitors lined up next to the Z and there will always be 1 winner - looks and sound and if you put the running costs against them all the Z win's again!

If you opt for the competition you will always look back at the Z and always feel as if somethings missing!

Go Z girl!!! :notworthy:

(I forgot to mention - how may TT, Z4, Merc drivers wave or acknowledge each other - only the other day I met Ruddles in Malvern - great support and enthusiasm for a truly fantastic car!)

Hi Fee - welcome to the forum

Plenty of us female owners around http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=23306- an ancient thread but will give you an idea

There's zero comparison to be made between those other Marques and the zed - your mates are completely insane if they even suggest there is

I tried BMWs and Audis when I was shopping and always returned to the zed - now had it for just under a year and still get a rush every time I turn the ignition.

Admiral/Bell seem to be the best for first time and young zed insurers

Happy shopping ;)

Andlid, that's porn!! :teeth:

^^ he is right. It's definitely a car that make head turns. I was a given a thumbs up by someone in a BMW yesterday when i was waiting a the traffic lights. :yahoo: Never did get that response even in my hardtop beamer previously.

Not only do head turn - people talk. I work in a building of 8 floors, the amount of people who came up to me and said "do you own the Z?" Every time somebody asks I feel like yelping "yes that's me" - a great feeling. Audi, BMW, Merc owners all ask about the car.

It may have a Nissan badge on the front, but boy oh boy, they have really made a cracking car. You should come along to a local Z meet, get a better feel for the addition.

Completely agree with all the comments here, I've not owned a car that has got a more positive reaction on the road.

What really makes me smile is the amount of little kids, that yank on their parent arms to point out the car as it comes past or wave. Call me sad, but I love that.

My mates 5 year old loves it, I lent it to him last weekend (the mate not the kid!) and his lad couldnt stop talking it about it when i came to pick it up!

If you still have any doubts follow this simple back to back test:

1. Get into TT/SLK

2. Turn key and listen carefully.

Then:

1. Get into zed

2. Turn key

3. Realise you need to depress the clutch to start.

4. Turn key again and listen, dont worry about being careful you wont miss this one..

Decide on which one is going to make you smile when you do that on a wet Tuesday morning in 18 months time.... no contest.

Small print: Probably best not to do this test with an SLK 55 AMG though!
