was8v Posted April 2, 2010 Share Posted April 2, 2010 First off I'm a new owner of a 2004 Blue 350Z GT! Had great fun picking it up and on the drive home. Have a few questions: The clutch bite point is kinda "immediate" at the top of the pedal travel not "gradual" over the last half of travel like most cars. the clutch doesn't slip (as far as I can tell). Makes it a little tough to drive smoothly. 1) Can the clutch be adjusted in some way? 2) Next up, what is s decent diagnostics fault code rear to use? Had VAG-COM on my old Audi which was great. I take it they are all like this then? I did what you are not supposed to and bought the first car I tried (so I don't know!). Oh and I viewed it in the dark and the rain..... Also I will be servicing the car myself. Is there a breakdown of what exactly is involved in the P1 P2 and P3 services anywhere? also fluid types and capacities I need to buy to give it a full service? Thanks. Computer says close to 30mpg on motorway runs with the cruise at 77mph! Thought these were supposed to be thirsty cars!? was8v Posted April 19, 2010 Author Share Posted April 19, 2010 I've accumulated all the bits needed for a full P3(+) spec service for my Z: -Gearbox oil -Diff Oil -Brake Fluid -Full set of brake pads -Engine Oil -Sump plug washer -Oil filter -Air Filter -Spark plugs -Touch in paint -OBD-II Code Scanner -Coolant (not pictured) -Both aux drive belts (not pictured) Should keep me busy for a couple of hours at the weekend Anyone know what tool is needed to undo the gearbox and diff drain plugs?
