davey_83 Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Afternoon chaps, any recommendations for a air con cleaner as my system has a smell momentarily when I turn the air con off. Looking to maybe order this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Silverhook-SGAC2-Air-Con-Bomb-Cleaner/dp/B007C6Q6XA/ref=pd_cp_263_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=AZWBB8Y53CME1FN4FF0Z Cheers David Quote
Jake.Lowther Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Have never tried any of those products, but going to follow this thread let us know how it goes Quote
pjf1985 Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 I've used the one by Meguiars and it's decent stuff! Makes your car smell brand new Quote
veeg33 Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 (edited) You might want to consider doing this --> https://diy-auto-rep...-system-401378/ Smells are usually due to bacteria inside your system. Need to locate the aircon intake on a zed to do this. I used to send my zed to ATS Euromaster yearly when they do recharge and anti-bacteria cleaning for around £35 via Groupon. Since they stop doing it, my next aircon cleaning will summer next year. This might be useful too --> https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Automotive/Bomb-FRESH-Conditioning-Cleaner-Foam-Remove-Odor/B019VBV77S/ref=pd_sim_263_5?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=J94WT8DWX6H463FGAWC3 Edited June 14, 2017 by veeg33 Quote
Jay84 Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 £20 antibac at Halfords, £10 if linked to ac regas. If You can get to Burton I can make a can disappear lol. Am I right in thinking no pollen filter on the zed? 1 Quote
