  1. If it hasn't already gone I'll take it Andy.
  2. Hi, Slightly off topic are you AdamC from YouTube? Also is it not cheaper to go down the turbo route? If you could get all the fab work done cheaply
  3. I believe I have one if you still haven't got this.
  4. Hi All, Does anyone have a buggard 350z gearbox I'm after the rear housing and shifter support.
  5. Still working on it, moved into a larger unit. Bought a load more machinery including pillar drills and metal lathes. I will do an update soon only just got my car moved over last weekend. The kit itself is basically done just needs the wiring and other bits sorting now.
  6. 370 single rear mount for ease of construction and maintenance
  7. Unless you bought a R33 a few years ago and you'd be quids up.
  8. Just finished welding up the pipe from the IC which goes to the turbo, it misses the ARB, Lower arm, steering rack and max travel of the wheel now I'm on the home straight to the rear of the car. Nice easy long semi straight sections.
  9. Thanks again mate hope to see you at some of the shows
  10. Looking for a pair of Cats for an upcoming MOT let me know if you're willing to part with yours. For a DE
  11. First dibs on this where are you located mate? Massive thanks in advance.
  12. Cheers mate, will hopefully have some more time this weekend to crack on.
  13. Sorry mate just beat you to it You can follow my build process, I may also be able to provide help (No guarantee) it's all new to me.
  14. Fabricated a blanking plate out of aliminium for the stock cold air feed. Mirror polished it to fit in with the rest of the bay, all needs a good clean for show season but that's a job for another day.
  15. I couldn't help myself no gaskets or oil feed. Disclaimer: (it is full of oil and bunged off only run it for about 20 seconds) before someone comments that i damaged the turbo
  16. Test fitted the pipe all seems good need to slightly adjust the rotation of the 3" exhaust flange since I tacked it blindely. But not bad for a first attempt Test fitted the IC pipe everything seems to fit perfect so onwards with more piping I'm going to mount the pipework to part of the subframe just above the lower arm since I'm using smaller 2.25" pipe I've got plenty of room. ** excuse my DIY blanking plates for headlight washer deletes **
  17. Cheers mate many, many more bends to come
  18. Couple more bits done got to take some more pics tomorrow. Firstly started bench testing the oil system for the turbo gotta play around with it but atm got it set to 45psi to the turbo. Also drilled and mounted the small oil resorvoir i made to the crash bar using 10 nuts and bolts just to be safe Also first time making AN hoses by cutting them and adding the connectors to the end luckily I've had my tentus booster shot because I got pricked and stabbed roughly 200 times while trying to fit them (give or take a hundred) Also started routing the pipe work from the intercooler around and over the lower arm. Complete pain in the ass as I'm sure any of you that have done a rear mount will know, working out the max travel distance of the wheel, ARB, lower arm, steering rack etc. But i think I'm home from tacked everything together will test it tomorrow and if we're all golden I can then continue the fun only another 4 odd metres to go... And finally welded together the pipework for the exhaust side of the turbo, had to do a bit of make shift forging with a couple of butane blow torches heating and hammering the 3" pipe into a rectangle shape so it would fit the flange and still be round enough to weld other bits to. Came out alright if I don't say so myself
  19. It's been awhile got some time to work on it again and some new goodies to play with. Will be posting more pictures of my progress over the next few days. Got myself a heavy duty metal bandsaw and just over 6 metres worth of 304 stainless pipe, now comes the delightful job of routing all the pipework and welding it together. I've made a start and will continue to work on it over the next couple of days.
  20. I have hose clamped a microfibre clothe over the opening since i don't have any 2.25" filters but I'm not driving it just start it up to move it about my garage.
  21. All fitted now waiting for new years, happy new years all. Bought the 2.25" stainless pipe for the hot side of the turbo.
  22. Got that part on the car today all fits as planned, got some more welding todo and all of the intake to the intercooler is complete
  23. Isn't the standard throttle body 3" so surely without increasing the intake pipe you're still restricting it to 3"?
