Since the recent update I have found that when posting pictures, if I resize them, they periodically randomly automatically rotate. If I leave them full size this issue does not happen.

PM received and just about to reply to your message. Shortening the shaft is not a good idea I am afraid. Best to fit an original OEM short shaft everytime. Shafts are in stock if you wish to follow my advice.

The tonneau cover is in great shape and the sealing strip is all in one piece with no cracks or tears. The paintwork is finished in KYO and is original and mint, with no marks or scratches etc. It will take about 1 hours labour to swop over the covers and is a very easy and straight forward job. Impossible to provide an informed diagnoses from just the video I am afraid as there are procedures to follow to trace the noise with the engine running. It is obviously rotational and my comments are below. Is your car manual or Auto? Did your tech remove both belts? Has he checked the position of the hydraulic main chain tensioner and the condition of the associated tensioner/slipper/guide? The water pump, which is chain driven, can be replaced without removing the timing chain cover, but you have got to be careful that the chain does not slip or jump a tooth, but if the procedure is followed to the letter, then this will not happen. All the above are very straight forward and any competent tech who knows his way around a VQ35DE engine should have no difficulties carrying out the above. Alex.

You will have to "modify" the plastic battery tray or fit a section of 10mm ply under the battery, the latter will work providing the battery is not to high to take the battery securing hooks.

This is what I use in the shop and they work great on 99% of lock nuts, however the Mcgard with the spinning collar intact can be a challenge.
