Hi Chris and to the forum, lots of Scots on here. I am based in Perth but there are a few in Edinburgh and many from Strathclyde, Perthshire, Tayside, Fife and Aberdeenshire.
Good luck with the search for a suitable car.
With a user name like that it was a bit obvious where you were from.
aboard mate, you will feel real at home as there are loadsa us Scots on here and more will be along shortly.
That is not the offset number mate.
The size of offset will determine how far out the wheel sits.
The offset number for the front will also probably be different from the rear.
It should be stamped on the inside of the rims.
Your speedo should not be affected mate.
Yes mate that should do the trick providing it has a decent flame control.
On most of these you will find that the flame is rather wide so the applied heat is a tad spread.
The idea is to only heat the nut up so that it expands on the bolt so a commercial oxy/accy gun is always best but a regular blow torch should be up to the task.
Remember that you will also require a 14mm, 19mm and grips to stop the knuckle from turning when loosening the seized outer nuts.
Also please remember and take the necessary fire prevention precautions.
Good luck
Cheers,
Alex.
Just took a fresh delivery today Ian so plenty in stock.
Unsure on price yet as I have not got the Customs bill in as yet
If they came through without tax and duty charges then they will be around £250.00 for a set of 2 front and 2 rear.
If they get caught and levied then they will be around £295.00 for a complete set.
A superb upgrade for the Zed and totally essential if lowered.
Alex.
Replace them with oem at your peril matey as you will have to replace them again in about a year's time. Total false economy. IMHO.
Fit the best and only replace them once.
