  6. I think that one of the garages is quoting you for a gasket and the other one is quoting you for a crush ring. From the factory the rear box is sealed to the mid pipe by a crush ring. I replace these crush rings with a fire ring gasket and charge them out to forum members at £4.95. Alex.
  7. If it bothers you that much, then you can always edit it.

  13. Denso Iridium are the ones to go for, and are far superior to platinum and other ebay tat. These are the best value plugs available in the market place today without a shadow of a doubt. Best not to listen to the misinformed Will, as there judgement is clouded. viewtopic.php?f=157&t=44399 Alex
  14. I was thinking that and especially if you are generous with the antifreeze/clear screen additive that might have gunged up the motors Exactly Colin, and this is the reason that Nissan always reject warranty claims on the washer pump motors. "I am sorry Sir but your warranty claim on your failed washer pump motors has been rejected by Nissan UK because you have not used Nissan approved screen wash" Alex.
  15. Best to leave the terminals well greased up. Sounds that the motors may have got a bit sticky due to lack of use.
