  5. If it is bodyroll that concerns you most then the fix is very easy. viewtopic.php?f=157&t=42412 In stock and good to go same/next day Alex.
  6. Cheers mate just pulled this out from the oem knob, could this be my problem? Sorry if it seems like I am making a mountain out of a mole hill, its just bugging me. Thanks everyone for your input. That's it mate now go fit it to the new gearshift knob and hopefully your noise will be gone. That little bad boy is actually an item that Nissan recommend should not be reused however at circa £14.00 a pop it is worth a go Alex
  7. Might be. The inside of the oem knob is made of rubber and the threaded part of the shift lever screws into this, however there is an independant rubber O ring which acts as an insulator. It is circ 5 mm deep. Have a poke about inside the oem shift knob and see if you can dislodge it. Alex.
  8. If the problem only arose after you swopped out the shifter knob then more than likely the O ring will still in your old knob. Have a look and if it is, then simply transfer it to your new shift knob. If you still have issues then just give me shout back.
  9. Could be a number it issues causing this, however the main culprit is the rubber O ring in the base of the shift knob, failing that the bushes in the base of the shifter where it hooks up to the transmission linkage. As usual all in stock Alex.
  10. Jamie, The problem is getting someone to come and view the car, and to see how genuine it is if advertised at £16995. If they came and viewed at that asking price, had a seat in the car and got a prolonged road test on a test route which was carefully planned, roof down, sun shining then it is doable. Most like to haggle, so a final negotiated figure of £16500 will probably be your tops mate. However on a bad day and in a forced sale situation, then you may be looking at 15K. Also, depends where you are based at the time of sale as higher residuals will be achieved the further south you go although they do make strong money in Edinburgh and Aberdeen but a premium price may be easier achieved in the sunny South. Saying that any Southern can easily jump on a plain and be in Scotland within a few hours. GLWTS mate. Alex.
  11. Water pump is chain driven so one less potential issue to worry about. Alex
  12. Fitting is very straight forward if you are handy with the tools and know your way around the Zed. However, quite a few forum members have come unstuck when carrying out this install and the cost to rectify there botch ups, far exceeded the cost to get a professional install in the first place. My advice would be to get it installed by the pro. who would be carrying out your tune. If you are on a tight budget then unfortunately this type of upgrade is not for you. Alex.
  13. If your budget aint to tight then have a look a Toyo T1Rs Alex
  14. Well, you already know my thoughts, however, I will remind you. DBA rotors with Ferodo DS 2500 pads In stock and good to go same/next day Alex.

    Adjusting Camber??

How do you know that the front is spot on Pete? Have you had the car on a 4 wheel alignment machine? If not then get the car out to Clarks Motorsport at Kintore Alex

    Adjusting Camber??

Pete, lowering the car will produce excessive camber and must be adjusted to get it back to factory spec. You have limited adjustment on the rears and no adjustment on the front. If your front camber is outwith the factory specifications then you will have to replace the front top arms with adjustable ones. If there is insufficient adjustment on the rear camber snail cams then you will have to fit adjustable arms mate. All these adjustable arms and toe bolts can be found in my sub forum/zed store, just click on my signature picture. As usual, all in stock and good to go same/next day Alex
  21. These seem to be a common'ish problem over on the US forum. I would check the connections to them first. I think there is one on each end of the cam shafts. At the front of the engine at the top of each 'V' there is a black cylindrical item with a green electrical connector on it. I'm pretty sure thats them. Unclip the connector and make sure its clean and in good condition etc.... Plug 'em back in, reset your CEL and see how you go. There maybe one at the rear to? Not sure. I'm sure someone who knows for sure will be along soon..... .....and if you need a new one ....PM Zmanalex Just to clerify, solenoids are at the front and the cam sensors are at the rear Plenty of both in stock if push comes to shove. Alex.
  22. Agree with Martin, defo battery issues. Alex.
