  1. That is simply a failed collection which means that they did not attempt collection probably due to time constraints.
  2. 225/45 x 18 and 245/45 x 18 will fit both the early 6 spoke and the Rays

    Help!!

The R and the L stamped on the arms might be a clue.
  4. You don't say what type or brand of wheel you are referring to. If they are oem Nissan wheels or Rays and the wheels have had a refurb and been in the oven at to high a temperature then that will be what has weakened the rim. Rays are forged and are therefore very strong, however overcooking weakens then considerably. Hope this helps. Welcome to ther forum. Alex.
  5. By your description it will be the gearbox idler gear rattling away due to you having a single mass lightened flywheel. The fix is simple, fit an OEM Dual Mass Fly and hey presto the noise will be gone. viewtopic.php?f=157&t=31543 Plenty in stock and good to go same/next day Exedy stock clutch kits also in stock. Just drop me a pm if I can help you further. Alex.
  6. Hi Zac and to the forum. The Zed is notorious for suspension knocks and it could be one of many issues. The most common knock comes from failure of the Compression arm bush. The Compression arm ball joint and cone seat are also regular failures. The lower ball joint on the hub carrier is also known to fail. There are other possibilities however a careful examination should trace the fault. What ever is giving you the knock, I will have the parts in stock to provide the fix including the lower ball joint on the hub carrier Here is a taster: viewtopic.php?f=157&t=43455 viewtopic.php?f=157&t=43456 viewtopic.php?f=157&t=43458 Just drop me a pm if I can help you further Alex.
  7. Ferodo DS 2500 is far superior to Brembo in all departments and cheaper.
  8. DS 2500 is the way to go There is no noise if installed properly and very little brake dust, work great from cold and require no warm up. They are street legal and you will have no issues in that respect. I am not a fan of EBC products, to many complaints and failures and after sales service sucks. I also carry the full range of Performance Friction is stock however, they do tend to be a tad noisy and would be a bit overkill for your application. This is what you need viewtopic.php?f=157&t=27438&start=0 In stock and good to go same/next day. Drop me a pm if I can help you further mate Alex.

I know Mark (3FIDDYZ) did his in 5 hours, so I guess it can be done, but hey I will have another chat with him tomorrow. Mark could not do it in 25 hours. Get real here. It is an 8 hour job. End of. Alex.

  17. Christian, If you find that eventually you do require a new power window motor then the best place to buy these is right here, on the forum, no need to go abroad for them, as by the time you pay the shipping and the tax and duty you will be close to my price. You will also have the added insurance of a 24 month no quibble warranty on my parts so if the motor fails then I simply send you another one. Take the hassle and potential warranty issues out of the equation and support your forum traders and receive genuine Nissan parts and after sales service second to none. viewtopic.php?f=157&t=43453 Alex
  18. You are only 1hr away mate. Gatwick to Glasgow Airport. Also the new Infiniti dealership is only a stone's throw from Glasgow airport. I am sure one of the West coast guys will be along shortly to help you out. Alex
  19. Hopefully expected tomorrow.
  20. If the faults were all there when you purchased the car then it is really down to the garage to fix the issues for you, free of charge, and not claim off the warranty. If the garage does decide to claim off the warranty then it would be wise for you to read your warranty documentation thoroughly. I am assumming that it will be an aftermarket insurance warranty. Of course you have your rights and if the car is not fit for the purpose then you can always return it, however best to take advice on this, as there are procedures to be followed. Having finance on the car is a real benefit in situations such as these, especially if you have a conditional sale agreement (HP) as the car belongs to the finance company until you make your last payment. If you have taken out a personal bank loan on the car then you are the owner of the car. Lean heavily on the finance company and the general manager at the garage and you should get a result. Good luck. Alex.
  21. On both 6 speed manual and Automatic versions, you would be well advised to remove the starter motor or the blanking plate and lock the crank by jamming the starter ring gear on the flywheel from turning. Alex.
