  1. No mate, it was just my "attempt" at humour, as you said you had bought a mini copper the old bill reference was a police joke, albeit not a very succesful one! Hope you enjoy the car, a good choice and lots of fun to drive. I still have my Focus ST, although I am waiting on a dealer to contact me when an Azure Zed turns up, which should hopefully be this week.
  2. Did it have an old bill in the glovebox? Good choice on the Cooper though, nice cars, fun to drive and good image too which is important for resale. Audi TT would be my other suggestions if you had not already committed. Maybe not 35 mpg as desired, but would get close if driven sensibly.
  3. I cant argue with that, the forum seems really friendly and full of good information. Yes, the ST has been modified, but only in as far as a cat back Mongoose exhaust and K&N Filter. No remaps or anything. The mongoose does sound good, plenty of pops and bangs when you want. I will keep my eyes peeled for you.
  4. +1 Sounds good to me! Sounds good to me too! Would be good to pop along, even I was in the ST at the time!
  5. I would not hesitate to recommend this pressur washer and for £45, its an absolute bargain. I have had mine about 3 months and used the snow foam attachment with some valet pro snowfoam on my car to great effect. Re the questions on the attachments, I would not use the concentrated nozzle on any part of the car, as the wider spraying nozzle is enough concentrated pressure for car cleaning, and even when doing that I would not get too close with it. Personally I rinse mine from distance first of all, then snow foam, leave for 15 minutes, rinse again with pressure washer, wash using 2 bucket method, rinse again, dry, then wax. Great bit of kit. Have also "snow foamed" the conservatory too and that did a suprisingly good job too!
  6. Well I hesitated to mention the mighty Parsons, as I thought it may be not quite so "down with de kidz" but am pleased to see that I am not the only one on here who remembers it. Cheers.
  7. Hello all Just registered today as I am currently in the market for a 350z and have found this forum to be excellent for information in helping to make my choice. I currently have a Focus ST which has been a great car, but I am itching for a change. Looked at three this weekend, one silver and two grey, all of which were nice, but I think I really want a blue one, which is a pretty similar blue colour to my Focus ST performance blue. Im from Norwich, as you can probably deduce from my user name, so I am fully expecting some Alan Partidge, straw in the mouth, have you got interenet there type comments, but its all good! Cheers
