  1. Black car + black hoses + black exterior door handles = Black car + red hoses + red exterior door handles = Fail Same for Green, Purple or Blue etc.etc. Alex.
  2. I wouldnt actually go to the garage, heard a few horror stories with them. Just my opinion tho +1. I had Mark from The Garage on the phone recently and to be perfectly honest I was appalled by his attitude and his bully boy tactics. This was all over poor quality workmanship that they had administerd to a job that I was connected to. So unfortunately I can no longer recommend The Garage. AVOID Alex.
  3. Sometimes they can be a bit tight mate. After you have removed the nut then you may have to insert a large lever above the bush to get the compression rod to drop. Alex.
  4. Im no mechanic , mate, but could that explain, or have anything to do with, the cars slight reluctance to go into 2nd gear? Btw if any of these things turn out to be serious, im gonna be extremely pi**ed at the AA, who check the car "from top to bottom" 3 weeks ago No, difficult 2nd gear selection from cold is a characteristic of the early transmissions I am afraid. A fluid change with some DC Moly should help Alex.
  5. The unrhythmical noise that you are hearing may be the OEM dual mass flywheel. Alex.
  6. Hi and welcome to the forum. Firstly do not use 95 . Secondly the 350Z is not the most frugal of cars. Best to do a proper fuel consumption test and work out exactly how much your are getting to the gallon. Alex.
  7. I would recommend the Ferodo DS2500, however these will do the job Chris viewtopic.php?f=157&t=55106 viewtopic.php?f=157&t=55107 Also best not to refit the OEM rubber hoses viewtopic.php?f=157&t=49449
  8. No need to disconnect the battery terminal. Best also not to drain the fluid as you may get an air lock which might be difficult to get rid of as a DIY project. Alex.
  9. Cheers mate OEM/Stock clutch bearings in stock. After market bearings also in stock for uprated clutch kits.
  10. By your description your clutch is slipping and the clutch cover is failing which is giving you the heavy clutch. The clutch pedal sticking down is a sure sign the the slave and fluid requires changing. The slaves are £80.00 for the VQ35DE and are also a stock item. Alex.
  11. Sam, I have the Genuine Nissan fluids and the additives in stock and good to go same/next day Drop me a PM if I can help you further Alex.
  12. In stock and good to go same/next day. PM received and replied to Alex.
  13. Best to stick with the Exedy clutch kit and Fidanza or OEM flywheels. I can supply all other makes and brands but the Exedy is the way to go. By your description I think that you may require a slave cyl as well mate. I have all the above in stock for the VQ35DE and the later HR models. The Exedy clutch kit and fly options will cost circa £600.00 for the DE. Drop me a PM if I can help you further and if you have any technical questions then just let me know and I will talk them through with you. Alex
  14. Mike. If you are swopping over a like for like bumper the all you would have to do is swop over the brackets and pumps etc, from the old bumper to the new one. Alex.
  15. I can't help you with a garage recomendation James, but hopefully some one will be along with a better geographical understanding of the area. It will take a garage with the car on a ramp around 15 minutes to drain and refill the transmission and diff. Alex.
  16. Without hesitation, Snap On every time mate. Your normal run of the mill gun will not loosen really tight wheel nuts and after two wheel changes the battery will be flat. I use Snap On in the workshop and at trackside and the battery will last all day and will do about 30 changes (120 wheels) before the battery gets tired. Downside is they are £400 - £500, however IMHO they are worth every penny. Alex.
  17. Got to be brand new mate and a decent brand at that. It will cost you approximately £200.00 labour to swop out the fly and clutch so you do not want to do it twice. The Exedy clutch kit is the way to go married up to a Fidanza single mass fly or the OEM Nissan dual mass fly. Have a look at these links and if you have any queries then just drop me a PM. I have all these in stock and good to go same/next day viewtopic.php?f=157&t=27436 viewtopic.php?f=157&t=31543 Alex
  18. Here you go Robin: I can supply plain genuine Nissan OEM Brembo rotors if you wish, however the DBA rotors listed in the links below are cheaper and better Any questions just drop me a pm mate viewtopic.php?f=157&t=46541 viewtopic.php?f=157&t=31541 viewtopic.php?f=157&t=55106 viewtopic.php?f=157&t=55107 viewtopic.php?f=157&t=27438 All the above are in stock and good to go same/next day Alex.

  20. Correct fluids also in stock as well as the correct clutch and fly combos
  21. Sounds like it one of your hankooks may have a bulge on the tread or perhaps developed tread separation. Get the wheels off and have a good look Alex.
