  1. Probably anti roll bar drop links or bushes. Both in stock and good to go same/next day Alex.

    Help

I can probably help you with this. Just to be clear, a picture would help Alex.
  3. DBA should replace your rotors under warranty If you bought them from me, then just let me have the details and I will sort this for you Alex.
  4. Yours is a non VLSD and therefore took the hypoy type oil. The VLSD fluid is specialised and not suitable for your non VLSD. Normally the diffs are easily identified as the VLSD have the coolant fins on the pumpkin. Remember now? Alex Im having a bit of deja vu cheers alex, just to clear things up(cant be bothered checking wiki lol) a hypoy is a type of mechanical diff? Whats the main drawbacks/advantages? No mate, Hypoy is a "type" of oil that goes into "normal" diffs. As regards the differences between normal diffs, LSDs and VLSDs then I am afraid that you are going to have a Google mate.
  5. Genuine Nissan Fluids in stock and good to go same/next day Drop me a pm if I can help you further mate Alex.

  7. When you swop from one brand of pad from another then you MUST thouroughly remove all previous pad deposits before you fit the new pads. You can not bed in the replacement pads until this has been done. The DS2500 will not squeal with the DBA 5000 rotors if fitted properly. To remove an imprint you will have to clean the rotor/rotors with fine sanding paper or temporarily fit a set of "special" pads for around 20 minutes driving/braking. Then refit the pads and bed in again. Job Done
  8. When you have the pads out checking the friction faces, also best to check that all 12 pistons are free. All parts in stock if and when required Here is the link to my 9 page sub-forum: viewforum.php?f=157 Alex.
  9. What brand of Rotors are you running? What brand of Brake Pads are you running? Have you removed all the pads and checked the friction face of each pad? Have you checked all 8 brake rotor faces? Have you checked the brake servo, hose and associated parts for proper function? Alex.
  10. Hey, Do you get a discount for purchasing both, I'm just trying to sell this as much as possible to the dealer. Though tbh I'm thinking they won't want to be upgrading my clutch . Bastard dealers Also what is the delivery charge to UK mainland? Btw if I don't swap out the fly will it be a case of having to get it done pretty sharpish anyway? If you do not swop out the fly now, expect to have to pull the box out again in the not to distant future. The fly is already discounted from £1100.00 (Nissan price) to £345.00 (Zmanalex price) If the garage prices up the parts from a Nissan Parts Department they will be quoted circa £1100 for the fly alone, so perhaps a cash settlement from them may be the way forward for you. Hey Alex, How much would Nissan quote for only a clutch replacement? I can imagine the pug dealer giving the OP a hard time wanting to replace the fly at the same time as technically that's still fit for use unless the OP can prove otherwise. Maybe getting the pug dealership to quote for just the Nissan OEM clutch change and then offering a cheaper Alex price for both would convince them? As you say the garage will certainly not roll over and just hand out a fly so the OP will have to fight his corner vigorously to get a result. Worse case scenario, garage replaces the clutch under warranty and OP supplies them with a fly. What is the mileage on this car? First stage is to inform the garage of the issue and get it looked at asap. Everything is hypothetical at the moment until a diagnoses is carried out.

  12. Thanks for all the referals guys Certainly sounds like clutch slip DannyP and the sad thing is that it appears to be slipping without any inducement which would make me believe that the selling dealer must have known about it. Due to amount of slip that you are getting then you MUST swop out the fly as well, which I doubt the selling garage will be keen to do. Anyhow all parts in stock if and when you require them Alex.
  13. Just normal braking will be fine Michael until you bed them in properly. Just go easy and don't jump on the brakes
