  1. Yes, the front and rear screen washer will work fine as the L/H bottle is fed from the R/H bottle. Alex.
  2. Steve, With most of these FI upgrades the L/H bottle for the headlamp washer has to be removed. Just blank off the pipes and all will be well until MOT time. Alex.
  3. Matt, It is in the IPDM at the battery. It is the 4th one down on the right and rated at 10 amps. Alex.
  4. Saskhi, Plenty preowned oem plenum bolts in stock if required. Might even have the longer ones for the spacer, but I would have to check. Just swing by next time you are passing, Alex.
  5. OK one more time: CHECK THE AIR BAG CONNECTIONS BELOW THE PASSENGER SEAT. THEN CARRY OUT THE AIR BAG RESET. If you are still having issues send me over the fault code if there is one stored. Alex.
  6. What part of "Your car is not equipped with a front crash sensor." do you not understand ? I have also told you that I would require a code for me to help you further Now you are telling me that you have an air bag light on. Have you checked the connections below the passenger seat ? Have you carried out the airbag reset? Alex.
  7. Seabee, I have already told you by PM this morning that the picture is of your ambient air temperature sensor. Your car is not equipped with a front crash sensor. Why are you finding it so difficult to take this on board:  Alex.
  8. The upgraded parts only apply if you are buying replacement parts. All the original VQ35DE motors will have the original design as far as I know. Nissan applied the change with a superceded part number circa 18 months ago. Alex.
  9. There appears to be no pattern (mileage or time) to this issue but Nissan have upgraded the chain slippers and guides so they do recognise that there is an issue but will never admit it. Although I have seen a few of these issues it is still quite rare and really my view is that you do not have a problem until you have a problem and no one should really be overly concerned about potential chain, slipper, guide or tensioner wear. Alex.
  10. That certainly used to be the case Graham, however with these cars getting older and mileages creeping up, it now has become an issue that I have experienced more and more over the past few years. The chains have been known to stretch so much that the timing goes slightly out. I had one 4 weeks ago where one of the hydraulic tensioners was fully extended and the chain was rattling off the casing. Fortunately this is an exception rather than the rule but still a worrying issue. OP: best to let a 350Z engine specialist have a listen to it for an informed diagnoses before you start pulling the motor. Alex.
  11. The clutch release bearing is not turning until you press the clutch pedal so the noise will not be from the bearing. The noise you describe sounds like it is from the DMF. Usually the DMF is only replaced when you swop out the clutch kit unless you have a complete DMF failure which is highly unlikely. Alex.
  12. Clutch and fly kits are here if required. In stock and good to go same/next day: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/63721-exedy-clutch-kits-27500-ultra-light-flys-34500/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/63723-dual-mass-flywheels-350z-vq35de/ Alex
  13. I have two that I am dismantling at the moment, both 2005. Alex
  14. Cosworth and HKS Performance Panel Filters for 370 are both in stock and good to go same/next day. These appear to be the two favourites for the 350 HR and 370 HR dual intake. Just drop me a PM if I can help you further: Alex.
  15. Dean, Clutch and fly combos here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/63721-exedy-clutch-kits-27500-ultra-light-flys-34500/ Dual mass flywheels here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/63723-dual-mass-flywheels-350z-vq35de/ Just give me a shout if I can help further. Alex.
  16. Dan, Mixed tyres will be causing this issue. Alex.
  17. Taking off in second will lead to premature clutch and fly wear Gareth. However no drama mate as plenty in stock and good to go same/next day. Alex.
  18. Brembo style brake lines are required for Brembo calipers. Alex.
  19. Maybe you are getting stronger: 6 - 8 clicks is about right providing it is holding. There are handbrake adjustments in the rear brake drums for the handbrake shoes and there is a cable adjustment at the base of the handbrake lever. Alex.
  20. Your numbers are all good: As Dan has said, just keep an eye on the dipstick. Alex.
  21. PM received and replied to Tom: The service schedule is: P1-P2-P1-P3-P1-P2-P1-P3: (Repeat) Alex.
  22. I take it that is half a second and not 5 seconds? Depending on the age and mileage of your car then half is second is not unusual. Just drive with a bit more mechanical sympathy and adjust your driving style to compensate for the gearbox wear so that it does not crunch between shifts. Alex.
