Depends what you find, however worst case scenario would be a replacement engine.
However I have low mileage preowned cams and buckets in stock if required.
Alex
Patch,
In reply to your original question.
To adjust the valve clearances you have to replace the cam shaft buckets which come in various thicknesses.
If the ticking noise is due to excessive valve clearances then you would be best to remove the cam covers and inspect the lobes of the cams.
I find that to replace the cams or buckets you are best to remove the engine as it is a real pain to do insitu.
Alex.
More than likely it will be the compression rod bushing or the compression rod ball joint.
All parts are in stock and good to go same/next day.
Just drop me a PM if I can help you further with your diagnoses.
Alex.
Steve,
With most of these FI upgrades the L/H bottle for the headlamp washer has to be removed.
Just blank off the pipes and all will be well until MOT time.
Alex.
Saskhi,
Plenty preowned oem plenum bolts in stock if required.
Might even have the longer ones for the spacer, but I would have to check.
Just swing by next time you are passing,
Alex.
OK one more time:
CHECK THE AIR BAG CONNECTIONS BELOW THE PASSENGER SEAT.
THEN CARRY OUT THE AIR BAG RESET.
If you are still having issues send me over the fault code if there is one stored.
Alex.
What part of "Your car is not equipped with a front crash sensor." do you not understand ?
I have also told you that I would require a code for me to help you further
Now you are telling me that you have an air bag light on.
Have you checked the connections below the passenger seat ?
Have you carried out the airbag reset?
Alex.
Seabee,
I have already told you by PM this morning that the picture is of your ambient air temperature sensor.
Your car is not equipped with a front crash sensor.
Why are you finding it so difficult to take this on board:
Alex.
