  1. I know where this is going: Alex.
  2. Just get it plugged into a code reader and retrieve the code/codes and keep a note of them. Then clear the codes and see if the EML comes on again. Post up here the codes and we will tell you what the issue is and the cost. Once we have that information we will be able to give you informed advice on the next step. Alex.
  3. First thing to do is clear the code and see if it comes back on again. The ECU continuously monitors its own internal memory status, internal circuits, and output signals transmitted to the throttle actuator. This self-check insures that the ECU is functioning properly. If any malfunction is detected, the ECU triggers the P0605 code and brings on the EML. Possible causes: ECU may be faulty ECU harness power supply circuit is open or shorted ECU harness ground circuit is open or shorted I had a 350Z in last week with the same issues and the ECU was fooked due to water ingress as the bulkhead power harness grommet had not been refitted properly and water was dripping onto the ECU. Preowned ECU's in stock for a few 350Z applications. Just drop me a PM if I can help further. Alex.
  4. It is only a ball ache if you make it so. Spend hours on the phone, getting frustrated trying to sort Macklins out or make a 2 minute phone call to Nobles, your call.!!! Nobles may even recover for you or perhaps you have some form of breakdown cover, have you thought of that ? That is the best advice that I can give you: Alex.
  5. Peeps travel 6 - 8 hours to get to Nobles and they do not consider it an inconvience considering the service you get. They are only a phone call away so get your finger out and make the effort. Alex.
  6. You can try Nissan customer services, however I think that may just refer you back to the repairing garage. You may have to be a bit more assertive with Macklins, however in the past I have found them to be a bunch ot tossers. Move the car to Nobles in Edinburgh and they will look after you, and if you require an introduction to the dealer principle then just let me know. Alex.

  10. Thanks guys: PM received and replied to Caveman. You will require an IPDM unit and I have them in stock and good to go same/next day. Alex.
  11. Best to refurb without splitting. You will also get a better finish with the paint or powder if you do not split. You will also have to fabricate new O rings as the old ones should not be reused and Nissan do not sell these. Alex.
  12. You simply have a fluid leak and should be very easy to spot due to the volume of fluid that you have lost. Be very careful on your drive to Horsham and avoid as much braking as possible. Alex.
  13. Plenty preowned OEM bolts in stock. Just drop me a PM if I can help further. Alex.
  14. Looks like quite a 'mix' there What was the black and red Evo doing at the hairpin?! After some one dropped oil/fuel all the way round the track, after clean up, let's just say that conditions were a bit tricky for a while and there were many casualties. Yes a good mix of cars, however most of the prestige examples are not in the images for some reason. Alex
  15. It will either be the gauge, sender unit or the wiring has went to ground. Disconnect the wire from the sender unit and check the gauge position. Then take the wire to earth and recheck the gauge. If the gauge drops to zero with the wire disconnected and jumps to 120 once earthed, then the sender is faulty. Alex.
  16. On average £65.00 for a 2 hour open pit lane session. However the 4 hour sessions are better, as they are less intense and you can pace your self much easier as you have much more time to rest between your sessions, also much kinder to your car as well. There is a better standard of car and a higher track etiquette at the SIDC and Track Scotland events which means less red flags, so more track time. Here you go: http://trackdays.knockhill.com/car-trackdays.php Alex.

  18. Not sure what the manual says, however I use just normal Hypoy 80-90 for open diffs with good results. Alex.
  19. If your car is RHD then Bank 2 is indeed the passenger side. Alex.
  20. Bank 1 is simply referring to the R/H bank and bank 2 is the left hand bank. Alex
  21. P1288 is sensor 1 bank 2. Preowned sensors are in stock if required. Alex.
  22. The BCM is located behind the trim to the side of the accelarator pedal. Alex.
  23. Preowned fully working BCMs are in stock if required and good to go same/next day. Just drop me a PM if I can help further. Alex.
  24. Mint / as new GT4 rims in stock and good to go same/next day. Drop me a PM if I can help further. Alex.
