  1. Hi, I am trying to track down a replacement pair of seals (new or used) for the lid storage compartment of my roadster, I think the part numbers are 97292-CE400 (RHS) 97293-CE400 (LHS) Does anyone have any or can point me at where I may find a pair at the best price? I am overseas but have a UK postal address they can be sent to.
  2. Hi, does anyone have two cargo net retaining clips for sale?
  3. The drivers seat, forward/backward motion, was not working on my Z when I bought it. A few weeks ago I thought I had narrowed it down to the motor as the switch was delivering +/- 12V and when I stripped the motor down there was a lot of damage inside. I just took receipt of a used working motor. When I connect it to the passengers side cable the motor bursts in to life but when I connect it to the drivers side there is nothing, despite the same voltage being present when the switch is operated. I have checked the pin connections on plug and socket supplying the motor, all good. I am now stumped. Is their some other component in the circuit that would result in the voltage being present with no load but fails to supply current when the motor is connected?
  4. To confirm the switch is at fault unplug the connector under the seat. On the cable end coming from the switch use a voltmeter to check, you should get +12V in one direction and -12V in the other.
  5. Does anyone know where I can find one of these in the UK. This one is in the US Z Store, quite pricey at $90 plus postage.it is described as pearl black colour
  6. Hi, do you have the seat motors available, forwards/backwards?

  8. My drivers side seat would not move backwards or forwards. Narrowed it down to the motor, removed it and dismantled it to find a right old mess inside, bits of magnetic material everywhere from the inside of the steel case. Where can I find a replacement motor, either original or suitable alternative? Checked with my local dealer and they will only supply the entire seat undercarriage, few hundred quid!
  9. Thanks both for the tip. Car has been fine all evening but if it starts playing up again I will use the cleaner you mentioned
  10. Since I got my Z Roadster a couple of months ago it has been hesitant over the first mile or so with a noticeable "bounce" of the rev counter around 1750rpm. Bearing in mind I live in Oman with an ambient temperature of over 30 degrees plus all day I did not put it down to the engine being cold. I had the car serviced by the dealer; oil change (forgot to check what grade), new filters and sparks etc but the problem persisted, somedays worse than others but still there. Having searched a few forums for ideas the MAF sensors came up as a possible cause. Sussed out how to clean them but could not find any MAF sensor cleaner in country, I checked all the connections on the sensors and ensured they were screwed down tight. The passenger side MAF sensor screwheads are badly worn which causes me some concern as they must have had some attention before. Other forums suggested the accelerator "relearning" process which I followed, still the problem persisted if a little less jerky. Today I had the oil changed again, not sure what was in there from the dealer but I used BP VISCO 5000 5W40 this time, best available at the local garage. The problem now seems to have resolved itself but will monitor over the coming days. I am returning to UK next month and might consider bringing the MAF sensors with me for a clean. MAF cleaner is readily available in UK but cannot be posted out here and bringing a can back in my hold luggage might not go down to well as it is a solvent and potentially explosive! Looking forward to a smoother ride :-)
  11. Yes, thats the earlier model. I have the 2007 with a different style door pull on the drivers side.
  12. Thanks for the reply (to my other thread) :-) The diagram you posted is for the drivers door handle with the screw in the bottom of the grip. I need advice on the 2007 driver door if you have it.
  13. Thanks but it is the drivers side I need advice on
  14. Read a few threads which mention removing the screw in the base of the door pull. My 2007 model has a different style pull handle with no base/screw. How do you remove this style, does it just prise off or is there a screw hidden somewhere. And does the arm rest need to come off first?
