Ford clearly either have too much money and no longer need to sell vehicles, or they are trying to position themselves above the premium sports car manufacturers. For example: Lead time from ordering Porsche 991 GT3 - 8 months Lamborghini Aventador - 12 mths Ford Ranger - 15 mths Yes, that's not a misprint. Ford are currently telling me that my new Ranger, which I ordered back in September, is now going to be with them in December! That's 15 months at least from order point to delivery. Considering that I was told it would be here in Dec '12/ Jan '13 when I put the deposit down, you can understand me being a little miffed. Actually, that's an understatement. What kind of a clusterf*ck car manufacturer cannot build a simple f*cking thing like a bloody pick up truck in a basic colour like f*cking black within a year??!! Which useless thunderc*nt at Ford said, "Ah, don't worry, I'm pretty sure all these commercial customers that spend thousands of pounds with us each year buying Transits will happily wait over a year for a simple pickup!" What an absolute shower of b*stards. If it were a f*cking Ferrari that I'd ordered in f*cking paint to sample with some magic f*cking seats that blow you every time you cruise along the Kings f*cking Road then I may understand waiting longer than a f*cking year for it, but a Ford? Fun cars, but thirsty as hell. If that's not a consideration, then it would be the car I'd buy over a VAG or GM product.

Pirelli aren't the problem, it's purely down to the teams. They had these tyres to work with during the close season tests, and some of them just cannot get them to work for them full stop. Pirelli have done exactly what they were told to do.

I suspect it feels better because all four wheels are now set with regards to each other, as Mark is right in saying that toe-in will increase high speed stability but reduce turn in.

Not so, there was a set of times posted from 2011 where Vettel won doing a four stop strategy, and his times were the same as Alcocko this year.

Neither. Black please, I don't think the current white really works well either if I'm honest mate. I'd say that you're in danger of having too many colours in one place, will look very jarring on the eye. Silver to match the car would also work well.

Saying that fitting spacers will not affect performance at all is like saying that you've got a turbo that has no lag: Completely impossible due to the laws of physics. Cornering would be affected and would probably be noticeable, but straight line stuff? Unlikely you'd notice. Unless they were made of steel and a good few kg each, of course... Were they, OP?

Yeah, I was going to do that when on the phone to them ordering a new card, but Jeff (or Rahjeshmahmadoul Billajowonga to his friends) was struggling just working out I wanted a replacement card, so I thought I'd give it a try another day

I do, but it ran out in April. Tbh it's unlikely I'll need it even if I do have a need for it, as I've got private medical cover coming out of my ears, but even so I'd still quite like to have one. Also just ordered a replacement credit card as mine has a massive crack down it right near the chip, been meaning to sort that out for a few months too It's the card I intend on putting 99% of my spending on whilst I'm away, so pretty critical it works!

16 days to go Ordered my Sanef toll thing last night, very painless experience and should be here tomorrow, cost me about £35 to start with which includes a £20 refundable deposit on the tag itself. Also remembered to renew my EHIC which takes 10 days to arrive: I really hope that's not working days else I've cut it significantly fine! I've also been running my HDH3 repeatedly, trying to extend the battery life as much as possible. Right now I'm getting about 2 hours in 1080/30 format which is fine, that's without Wifi on though. Can't see that being a major issue as I'll be running from a 12v source most of the time, and will only go battery for the external stuff. The car is also booked in for a geo to my specs on the 28th, which is the day before I leave: I'm getting very good at leaving things until the last minute here!

Lewis' comments regarding not being able to drive any slower should be a wake up call to the sport. That's simply not good PR to have, and the whole world heard that too.

Granted, they may need to alter the structure of them a bit still. I miss refuelling too.

Are they trying to kill the brand dead? I'm sure it'll be okay if not amazing, but there is such a thing as too much. Saturate the market and people stop caring. One decent Marvel film a year is enough IMHO.
