  1. Completely unnecessary, don't worry about them
  2. Take the one you still have to a local metal fabricator and get them to replicate it.
  3. Also, what year and engine?
  4. What do you want to know?
  5. No way of checking much from that ad, you'd need to see the car in person and have a good drive. Never seen rain is bollocks.
  6. Hmm, well in that case they probably should mention it, however caveat emptor as always. Maybe they're not mentioning it on the ad, but doing so in person to try and get a sale quicker?
  7. Yes and no. They may not know themselves, and you should always HPI a car before buying anyway.
  8. The correct answer is, of course, to bin it as you are no longer 12 years old and at school, and to buy something with a single strap that goes over the shoulder. Notable exceptions to this rule include any sac designed to carry fluids for those marathons, or dressing up as a Ghostbuster with proton pack for parties.
  9. Now watching Iron Man 3 with the volume excessively loud.
  10. Stay at one of the Prem Inns, and use the official long stay parking. Close as anything.
  11. Scratching my nuts. Well, you asked...
  12. Reminds me of Begbie.
  13. Yeah, chuck it in there. I wouldn't expect a username pic with car sales tbh, but the Team may feel differently. You only need a handful of pics, too many will bore people.
  14. They look nice, but sadly they all taste of fish.
  15. Zackerly. Hence caveat emptor.
  16. Well, unless they lied of course as then you'd have a case of misrepresentation, but good luck with that unless you've got it in writing.
  17. Caveat emptor. Does not apply to private sales, 100% sure on that.
  18. Kinda how I see it. It's like saying a GT-R isn't heavy, when it bloody well is but it's got a lot of firepower to make up for it. Or that Panda Pops aren't cheap if you couldn't afford a Coke, but they're still at the bottom end of the range.
  19. Didn't realise there were audio sync issues, but then I have my setup running as you describe so can set the delay exactly. I don't recall actually ever changing it mind, but then that's the same when I fire up Rockband too. You sound about the same level as me really, in that I can pretty much play any chord progression but have never been much of a soloist, which is why I wanted it as I thought it would help. It can to some extent I think, but there's times when it either throws far too much at you and it's hard to read what's on the screen. If it had the ability to adjust the speed on the fly using a controller then it would be perfect, so if RS14 has that then I might well give it a go. I tried it with my bass the other day, and it's really good for that, but that's probably because you're dealing with less info on the screen at once.
  20. Nah, definitely me. Deffo.
  21. Then yes, that's a great hot hatch if you can live with the looks. Go for it
  22. It's the best daily drive sports car released in the last few years, certainly. The level of feedback, balance and poise is remarkable. If my brother's one wasn't putrid green, I'd be tempted to have it off him once he's finished with it.
  23. I've got the original, and to be honest it was a massive disappointment. If you can already play the guitar to a level where you can strum pretty much anything if you're given the chords, then this will be hugely frustrating as there's no easy way of picking a section and setting the difficulty and tempo. It's all done on how the game thinks you're doing and whether it thinks you've hit the notes or not. I'd say it's about 95% accurate, but sometimes I knew I'd nailed a section but it would say no! or I'd fluff a note and it would let me past. If, and it's a big if, RS14 now has that option, then it'd be worth a buy. If not, I'd leave it. And all that said, if you've ever picked up a guitar in your life I reckon it's an excellent teacher for the absolute beginner, as it explains everything clearly and builds you up slowly. I'm no maestro on the axe, but even I found it too basic for my needs.
  24. Cheap and heavy are not opinions. Style is.
