  1. I don't see why they should allow any grace at all, tbh. Why 5mins? Why not 10mins? Why not an hour? Why don't people buy a ticket that actually lasts the length of their intended stay in the first place? As with speed cameras, the simple truth is that if people didn't take the mick and try and flout the rules then no-one would ever have reason to complain.
  2. I would expect the Motordyne to be fine, tbh, and you can bung it easily if needs be.
  3. Yes. TLOU is good but I got frustrated at the poor save system and dodgy controls, GTAV feels very natural to me. Completed the main storyline at the weekend, loved it. First GTA game I've ever completed off my own back, too!
  4. Ah, I see. If it were my money then I'd definitely consider a manual 2.7 with some toys over a poverty spec 3.4 PDK, especially if buying from new. Just don't expect to get away with minimal depreciation on these! If you're interested, I'd consider the following to be a must-have: PCM3 Sat nav Sports seats Plus Sport design steering wheel Sports exhaust Anything else would be down to taste (and any worry about resale value), but I wouldn't have a car without those.
  5. Did you drive a manual then?
  6. True, I've never heard a Crapspeed version. I wouldn't have thought there would be that much in it though, volume wise? I don't know though.
  7. If they want to reduce premiums, then reduce IPT. Simple as, but they can't because they need the money.
  8. It's an excellent piece of kit, it really is. Left in auto it'll get to 7th quick as, and return great MPG. Pop it into Sport auto (where I tend to leave it) and it's absolutely perfect, never caught out on gear and adapts all the time if you're pressing on or pootling. Sport Plus is just mental for the road and best left for the track, however Sport Plus and manual mode gives lightning-fast changes with the little thump in the back at WOT, and is how I drive the car when on a blat. It can be a bit clunky on the very first 1-2 shift on a cold morning, but then the oil is stone cold so to be expected. Other than that, it's flawless. It's even quicker on the 9x1 cars.
  9. 800x480 res is going to look a bit sh*t. You'll have to add VAT + import duty to the price as well, plus you'll have to return it to HK if anything goes wrong with it at your cost. Buy something decent instead.

Lolwtfbbq Someone can't read a press release' date=' can they? Why on earth would a manual car have a dual-clutch?! Much better link, from PH So yeah, it's a manual or a dual-clutcher. And for $250,000, you'd have to be bonkers.
  11. Christ, I'm in the odd position of completely agreeing with everything Dblock just said. That's an odd feeling. But yeah, the Zed isn't for everyone, sell it and buy something you actually like.
  12. Actually, what did you think of the drive? Be good to hear your opinion.
  13. It's an OPC, what were you expecting? Discounts across the board?! They're worth every penny. IMHO, of course. You don't really need the S, the 2.7 has more than enough grunt and a lovely sweet engine. Hold off on the options unless you desperately want them and you won't find a better car for the money If a 981 is out of reach, see if you can find a 987 R as they're sublime.
  14. I would give serious consideration to not driving the car until you at least have an idea of what the problem is. All three of those lights on after a hard brake would concern me somewhat. It may just be a sensor, but it may be something else a bit more serious, and until you know for sure that's a hell of a risk.
  15. The biggest issue is when people start decatting, most other exhausts are fine up until that point. For example, I only saw 104dB with a K1 with the bungs out, although I always left them in for the actual track out of common sense. There's not a lot else out there that's going to be louder than a K1, however intake choice will make a difference here too.
  16. I'd hang around for £5K. Hell, there's not much I won't do for £5K!
  17. And where do you work again?
  18. To be fair, it could be gross misconduct. Certainly as an employer I would take a very dim view of it. If you're off sick with stress, then I'd be tempted to stay stressed right up until the end of your notice period. if they only give basic references then I wouldn't worry too much. I know I'm coming across as a bit harsh here dude, but I really am trying to be constructive for your sake as much as anything, I hope you're taking my advice the right way as I know how crap all this can be.
  19. Exactly. Excellent, excellent point sir. More to the point, that shows very poor management on their part. Why give something that important to someone who's leaving? It's just a massive risk they don't need to take, especially if you don't finish it before you leave. I would relax and not worry about it so much, as long as you are working 9-5 then there's very little they can do or expect. Are you relying on a good reference?
  20. On the other hand, Ricey signed a contract to work there and should fulfill it to the best of his abilities. Take the moral high ground, do the bare minimum amount of work and stay polite. Be the better human being, and be proud of that.
  21. I have serious doubts over this. It's one thing to create a great hot hatch (like Renault), it's another to create something that is just great at the Ring. Honda haven't done anything of note in terms of suspension or engine design in almost 10 years now, so they'd have to do something spectacular to make a car better than the current Megane RS. Even if it is quicker round the Ring, that may not necessarily make it a great car. The 918 has done a 6'57", which by all accounts is significantly quicker than the more powerful and lighter P1, but you just know that on a regular circuit the P1 will monster the 918. Not exactly apples with apples, I know, but being good at the Ring doesn't mean a massive amount other than bragging rights.
  22. The stand attachment referred to is otherwise known as a jack pad, and if you've got decent axle stands then you don't really need them.
  23. Completely unnecessary, don't worry about them
  24. Take the one you still have to a local metal fabricator and get them to replicate it.
  25. Also, what year and engine?
