  1. Exactly. Excellent, excellent point sir. More to the point, that shows very poor management on their part. Why give something that important to someone who's leaving? It's just a massive risk they don't need to take, especially if you don't finish it before you leave. I would relax and not worry about it so much, as long as you are working 9-5 then there's very little they can do or expect. Are you relying on a good reference?
  2. On the other hand, Ricey signed a contract to work there and should fulfill it to the best of his abilities. Take the moral high ground, do the bare minimum amount of work and stay polite. Be the better human being, and be proud of that.
  3. I have serious doubts over this. It's one thing to create a great hot hatch (like Renault), it's another to create something that is just great at the Ring. Honda haven't done anything of note in terms of suspension or engine design in almost 10 years now, so they'd have to do something spectacular to make a car better than the current Megane RS. Even if it is quicker round the Ring, that may not necessarily make it a great car. The 918 has done a 6'57", which by all accounts is significantly quicker than the more powerful and lighter P1, but you just know that on a regular circuit the P1 will monster the 918. Not exactly apples with apples, I know, but being good at the Ring doesn't mean a massive amount other than bragging rights.
  4. The stand attachment referred to is otherwise known as a jack pad, and if you've got decent axle stands then you don't really need them.
  5. Completely unnecessary, don't worry about them
  6. Take the one you still have to a local metal fabricator and get them to replicate it.
  7. Also, what year and engine?
  8. What do you want to know?
  9. No way of checking much from that ad, you'd need to see the car in person and have a good drive. Never seen rain is bollocks.
  10. Hmm, well in that case they probably should mention it, however caveat emptor as always. Maybe they're not mentioning it on the ad, but doing so in person to try and get a sale quicker?
  11. Yes and no. They may not know themselves, and you should always HPI a car before buying anyway.
  12. The correct answer is, of course, to bin it as you are no longer 12 years old and at school, and to buy something with a single strap that goes over the shoulder. Notable exceptions to this rule include any sac designed to carry fluids for those marathons, or dressing up as a Ghostbuster with proton pack for parties.
  13. Now watching Iron Man 3 with the volume excessively loud.
  14. Stay at one of the Prem Inns, and use the official long stay parking. Close as anything.
  15. Scratching my nuts. Well, you asked...
  16. Reminds me of Begbie.
  17. Yeah, chuck it in there. I wouldn't expect a username pic with car sales tbh, but the Team may feel differently. You only need a handful of pics, too many will bore people.
  18. They look nice, but sadly they all taste of fish.
  19. Zackerly. Hence caveat emptor.
  20. Well, unless they lied of course as then you'd have a case of misrepresentation, but good luck with that unless you've got it in writing.
  21. Caveat emptor. Does not apply to private sales, 100% sure on that.
  22. Kinda how I see it. It's like saying a GT-R isn't heavy, when it bloody well is but it's got a lot of firepower to make up for it. Or that Panda Pops aren't cheap if you couldn't afford a Coke, but they're still at the bottom end of the range.
  23. Didn't realise there were audio sync issues, but then I have my setup running as you describe so can set the delay exactly. I don't recall actually ever changing it mind, but then that's the same when I fire up Rockband too. You sound about the same level as me really, in that I can pretty much play any chord progression but have never been much of a soloist, which is why I wanted it as I thought it would help. It can to some extent I think, but there's times when it either throws far too much at you and it's hard to read what's on the screen. If it had the ability to adjust the speed on the fly using a controller then it would be perfect, so if RS14 has that then I might well give it a go. I tried it with my bass the other day, and it's really good for that, but that's probably because you're dealing with less info on the screen at once.
  24. Nah, definitely me. Deffo.
