  1. Rear left wears faster because of roundabouts. Depending on how low you are, you might be out of spec: Post your geo up and we can take a look And welcome along!
  2. Ah I see it now, thanks.
  3. Hey you know me, glass half full and all that
  4. What does the badge on the rear say?
  5. Is it a good idea? YES Would it improve driving for all motorists? YES Does it make any money? NO Ah well, guess that's one idea out the window then.
  6. Unless you're absolutely slammed to the floor, you'll be fine regardless of where you go. Both the 911 (which sits about the same height as a lowered Zed) and the MR2 (which sits pretty damn low) were perfectly fine in the standard carriages.
  7. If you want to fall asleep whilst looking at it, then yes.
  8. I wonder if he's still angry, or if there's been a successful ending to this?
  9. Go on the GT3 forums right now, I can promise you that you'll see hundreds of people being very negative about the marque!
  10. Kinda what I was getting at too. Tbh you should really be mad at yourself for not checking in the first place, especially if you were that bothered about it.
  11. Just ring the bloke up in the morning and ask?
  12. If you can point me out one single post where I, or anyone else, has said that a standard Jag or Porker is a supercar, I'll buy you a 10kg tub of Jelly Babies. Also, if you bother to read my posts on this thread, or anywhere else, you'll see I talk the 350Z up as a bloody good car and that I'd take one over the many rivals. But of course, that would take time and effort, and it's far easier to take the lazy route and simply state that anyone who no longer owns a Zed but still sticks around because this is a great place to be must hate all Zeds and always puts them down. But hey, whatever floats your boat.
  13. Because no-one here is stupid enough to think the 350Z is a supercar. It's a super car, but not a supercar.
  14. Oh yeah!
  15. What an utter gimp! The GT owner, obviously. The Ring is good fun, but I would only ever do it again under a proper trackday. Too many risks on a TF day for my taste, but each to their own.
  16. Did he change the gearbox oils though? It's not required on a P3, but it may have been done due to mileage.
  17. Sorry, but no. That's not the real world. Think about it: Any time you get something fitted at home, be it carpets or kitchen or toilet or wiring, do you ever expect them to leave the old rubbish behind? No, of course not. Why would plumbing a boiler in be any different? It's not preying on lack of knowledge, it's disposing of the waste. Just because that waste could be worth something to someone doesn't make it any different.
  18. That's just a shampoo, by the looks of it. It'll do the same as any other shampoo.
  19. Keeping scrap isn't a perk of the job, it's built into how we price for things. A bit like how waiters live off their tips, if you will. If a customer really wanted to keep their scrap I wouldn't argue with them, but I'd be a bit peeved they didn't mention it beforehand.
  20. Shambles all round. FIA shouldn't supply clearly faulty gear, RB should always listen to what the stewards tell them.
  21. Well not me, it was Jo's car really. She always wanted an Impreza, so when she wanted shot of the MR2 we went a-hunting. Great car, I do really miss it but we sold it to a friend of ours so we still get to see it.
  22. On the flipside, here's a story for you. When shopping for Imprezas, we went to a dealer down in Kent (about 2hrs drive) to look at one. We'd said on the phone we wanted to drive a couple which they were fine with, so they had a black 03 STi and a silver 05 WRX ready for us. Drove both, WRX was too slow and the STi had a crunching diff. We then spotted another black STi in the corner, so asked if we could drive that as well. It was covered in dust, battery was dead, had to move a load of cars to get it out, but they did so albeit with a bit of a moan. Drove the car, it was perfect, signed the deal there and then. We could just have moved on, but a bit of patience got us the exact right car. Dust can be washed off, batteries can be charged or replaced, but finding the perfect car can sometimes mean a bit of give and take on both sides.
  23. New scaffold to hold the Ultra BGW for the new Veyron Last Of Line We Mean It This Time Honest Guv Super Duper Mega Sports version.
  24. Either will be unlikely to happen, at least not in the next couple of years. There's an election looming, don't forget.
