  1. Blimey mate, you don't do things by halves do you?! I'd go for OEM spoiler and leave the wheels black, or have them neon green or orange for something different
  2. Glad you got one sorted mate, let us know how you get on with it.
  3. Yes, that 917. Hence the karma comment.
  4. Tbh, there's not really a lot more I can say about it if I'm honest. The launch at my local OPC was last night, but I was far more interested in the prototype 918, the clay mockup 919, Josh Webster (nice guy btw) and his 991 Cup, and a certain 917 owned by David Piper that was there. Yup, ithat 917. I was tempted to accidentally fall on it and put my foot through the clam and yell "KARMA BITCH!", but decided against it. The Macan looks alright, rear lights are arty and clearly the future of Porsche lights, but I really couldn't be bothered to poke around it too much. Got a test drive booked next weekend in the petrol S, so may well have more to say then. Soooooo much posh totty there last night though, almost wish I'd left Jo at home
  5. Actually, so would I now you've mentioned it. Top idea
  6. The 350 door handles are one of the most aesthetically interesting things about the car, especially if you have the Rays on the car too.
  7. Massively sorry for your loss my friend, I cannot for one moment imagine what you are going through.
  8. I really need to get mine on track one lat time before she goes this year.
  9. What I need is for PD to do an iPhone, then I'll be throwing my money at them
  10. Missed this, soz I'm fully entrenched in the iOS system and way of doing things which does make my choice easier, I admit, but I genuinely think the iPhone is the best phone for me. Above all else, I rate response as the number one feature on a phone, and the iPhone has and always will trump anything else on this simply because of the way the OS prioritises things. Try them side by side in a shop, and you'll see with ease that the response on the iPhone is quicker than any Android phone. Of course, I appreciate that this doesn't matter to everyone and fully understand why people don't like iPhones (some reasonable, some just anti-Apple), however if a device cannot get the very basics such as interaction right then I'm not interested.
  11. So you like Blackberries, eh? And want something snazzy? I have the solution! /thread

    Tyres

Like class-leading grip in the wet, low road noise and wear rates, you mean?
  13. No waffling at all, good answer I was just really curious as to how I come across, but that makes sense. I guess I should point out though that my Zed had the K1 and the 911 has the PSE, so I like my cars to look subtle, have loads of power, but also LOADS OF NOISE which is where the C7 trumps all I think
  14. Genuinely didn't think it would of been your cup of tea Ooh you've piqued my curiosity now: Out of interest, why did you think that?
  15. Funds willing, I'd love one. Truly outstanding piece of kit. Then again, I loved the C6 as well.
  16. Because I don't buy cheap sh*t, and therefore I wouldn't recommend any old crap to anyone. You're right of course, we perhaps should've asked usage, but pretty much everyone these days wants a smartphone that does everything as well as make calls and text.
  17. Check for possible exhaust leaks underneath, right from the manifold all the way back. That could well cause the smell, and it may be causing a hiccup that could be interpreted as a misfire. I only say that as it's very unlikely to get a misfire with no code, especially if it happens regularly enough for you to notice it.
  18. I don't like Android personally, but if you pushed me into one I'd be hard pressed to look any further than the Nexus. By all accounts from interweb friends who know their sh*t, it's the one to go for.
  19. GAIDMGLOL  I can give you the name of a good outdoor marquee specialist for next time, if that helps.
  20. Done a fair amount with Walshy at North Weald, but you can never learn enough. Should probably do another refresher day soon, but funds and time are sadly lacking. Don't know why you're picking on me with that though, I'm the next Hamilton!
  21. I ran Event tyres on my old MX5, which were under £30 a corner. Atrocious things, zero grip in wet or dry, melted on track, but as the car moved around so much (and that's exactly what I wanted it to do) they were ideal. Bloody dangerous if you weren't 100% focused, though.

    New car time!

I have no idea either. I'm assuming it means something like 'annoyed'. Not sure why I would have been annoyed because I didn't mention something Clarkson said, despite not having watched TG for eight odd years.
