  1. Wide front arches are going to look silly if you don't have the rears done too, and then you'd need spacers or wheels to suit there too etc. This is a no-brainer in my eyes, you want the job done properly so just get new wheels. I can't believe they can't make a pair up to your specs.
  2. I've limited mileage policy on my MR2, although have never been asked to give a photo of the mileage. As far as I'm concerned, I'm not insured on track at all and so I do not expect my mileage limit to include track stuff. Assuming you can prove you did some track/drift events (easy), then I don't see it being a problem at all. Certainly you'd have no issues if they started playing silly buggers and you needed to go to the ombudsman.
  3. SO MUCH WANT
  4. Turbocharged fwd cars scrabble for grip, hence scrabble wagon. Not my phrase, but it's an accurate description
  5. Makes no difference, good tyres are good tyres so go with the best you can afford So yeah, MPSS FTW.
  6. Which belongs to the wife, and which I don't like either
  7. Just hand the details to your insurer.
  8. Only sensible answer is to get new wheels. Anything else is a daft compromise. Depending on conversation previously with supplier, I'd be looking to return as not fit for purpose.
  9. Thanks chaps, I never know if these thing are as enjoyable to read as to write, I know I can waffle on a bit
  10. Wrong wheel drive scrabble wagon.
  11. Yeah, did a few Exodus ones, the sandpit was my favourite location in the summer. Man, they were the days.
  12. Keith Flint's nan used to live down my road, so met him a few times. Also Liam Howlett used to frequent the pub I worked in at the time, both him and his other half were really nice people If we're talking raves, we've got to mention Exodus. But only with the original crew, got full of muppets late on. Also... Snow! Spent a whole evening once with a mate trying to figure out the lyrics, with comedic results.
  13. My parents bought me Sonic 2 for my birthday, which is on Dec 3rd. The game came out on Sonic Tuesday, Nov 24th. No way I could wait a week to play this! I knew exactly where it was hidden, so when they went out I'd sneak into their room, grab the game and play it for as long as I dared. I then had to pretend to be surprised and astounded when I got it for my birthday.
  14. Tracking! Man, even I'd forgotten about that!
  15. Both links are the same, those are fine for the front but you'll need 245/45/18 for the rear.
  16. "Spuggy, me eyes!"
  17. I've got pics of me with said haircut somewhere!
  18. I still live in the '90s, in my mind. Best decade ever.
  19. 'Buffday folks
  20. Tbh you might as well not bother wearing a helmet mate, if that's the case. I agree the risk is minimal (no different from wearing a helmet on a trackday), but if push comes to shove I wouldn't want something flawed protecting my noggin. A good helmet is under £100 now, too cheap to worry about compromise. Colours sound lovely though, def be worth doing properly on a new lid
  21. If I wanted the prettiest games, tbh I'd just buy a PC. The experience is as important to me as the graphics, and since I don't have two TVs to directly compare against the two consoles then whatever I choose will look amazing. If everything was equal, and all I wanted to do was play the multiplats, I'd definitely choose the PS4. It's not, and I don't, so I won't. Titanfall is utterly amazing, and the graphics may not be as good on the Xbone as on the PC, but by jove the gameplay is so good I don't mind in the slightest
  22. Doesn't sound right, I fitted these are they were perfect. Where did you get them from? Just wondering if you have the wrong ones.
  23. Well yeah, I genuinely cannot believe that cruise isn't a common option, if not standard. Bizarre. Loads of room in there Will, you'd fit easy mate. I don't like the wheels either, I did mention about swapping them which they would do, or powdercoat a different colour. They're fine in black, oddly. Forgot to mention that the paddles are on the column not the wheel, which seemed very strange in usage. Couple of times I went for a gear and had to take my hands off the wheel to grab a paddle. I'm sure you'd get used to it, but I definitely prefer having them wheel-mounted. Odd how they talk up the 458 as being closely related to an F1 car, when the F1 car has them on the steering wheel!
  24. You cannot use normal paint on crash helmets, as it WILL weaken them. I'd throw it away and get a new one, then get that painted professionally. Seriously, I wouldn't use that again, it's not worth the risk.
  25. Which is why the smart people buy a 9x7.2 car with the DFI engine, which has no IMS
