Yup, spot on matey. The engines are pretty good for up to around 320bhp, but the gearboxes tend to go pop with the torque at that kind of level. I'll be keeping the power down to around 250, which will be safe enough.

Any Guitarist on here? looking for new guitar!

That PRS is stunning in that colour I don't like Strats, so I'd probably get the PRS out of the two. If just for the colour. -
Drift it like you stole it, bro

Wow, awful news, just glad your wife is okay. I take it the van wasn't indicating at all?! Berk.

Eeep, not good! Then again, if you're on cheaper road rubber (don't think you're on 888s yet, are you?) I guess that's not entirely surprising, especially if the car is moving around a lot.

Yup, you can do some looping with the 1000 on the fly which is a cool trick, it mucks my own timing up though so I don't use it often. I've played a couple of PRS guitars in the past, but tbh I didn't really get on with them. Tone was great, but there was something about the feel that didn't sit right with me, couldn't tell you exactly what though sadly. Just one of those feelings, y'know? -

I'm still enjoying my Fender Mustang Cobain edition, bought early last year. Not sure it would work for you tone-wise, but the short scale neck makes it a breeze to zip around and the phase switches let you create some awesome sounds. I run it through a Digitech RP1000, and then through a red stripe Peavey Bandit 112. The pedalboard is a superb bit of kit, and allows me to go very easily between my own sound to massively overdriven tones back to twangy country stuff, or just to plain crunchy metal. I also own an SG as my other guitar, and that's a real nice bit of kit but the balance isn't for everyone as it's massively head-heavy. I had to sell my Riviera to fund the Mustang, which was a shame as that was a beautiful all-rounder. -
People are 'tards.

Good post That's pretty much it, yeah. Do you guys not have to make compromises on a shared car with regards to setup?

Result, glad you got it sorted

Every time you get hunger cravings, just masturbate instead. Win/win.

I'd definitely do that if I lived in Cheshire! I'm in Essex so won't bother for places like Bedford, Snett or Rockingham, but definitely do for Anglesey, Donnington or Oulton.

Ah, that makes sense with the popcorn. I only mentioned the bacon as you picked the Subway chicken and bacon sandwich thing, so assumed you had bacon in that. Sorry bud. I'm not familiar with that app, does it let you add in individual ingredients? You could create a custom sandwich thing if you're going to have that often. I know the MyNetDiary one has everything listed individually, and you can repeat items easily: Might want to give that a go before you get too involved in the current app, see if that works for you better. Bacon is still bad though, best to avoid altogether really. Special K is vile, you're a braver man than me Cereal servings are between 30-40g usually, which is why I thought you'd doubled up. I might have to look that popcorn up, was it any good?

Wet filter could do it, if it's soaked then the water will massively reduce the air coming in so you'll have nothing to mix with the fuel, and the engine will sort itself out to stop you running massively lean. Where is the filter on your kit? Any way of protecting it? Could also be some moisture in the coilpacks. Boost leak would seem to be the least likely reason for it, although you could check the connections anyway.

Just weigh yourself once a week, and keep the timing consistent: I do it every Sat morning, straight out of bed. Brave man making your fitness thing public, great idea though Can I make a couple of suggestions though, based on today so far? You're having twice the amount of cereal as you should be, measure it out just once to get an idea of portion control. Or swap to something really dull, like Special K. The water is fine, I can't drink plain water either! Good choice fella. Is the calorie number correct for the popcorn? Metcalfe themselves say it's 115 kcal per bag. STOP HAVING BACON! It's the greatest meat product ever, but it rapes you in terms of fat and calories. Just have the chicken, a bit more if you must. Was the ranch dressing a low-fat one? Any butter at all? Put any salad in there to bulk it up? You've already had 2/3 of your days calorie goal and you've not got to dinner yet, which means you're very unlikely to stick to it. Either raise it up to 1800 kcal and add some exercise (are you doing any at all? Sorry if I've missed that) or you're going to have to alter what you're eating. If you like popcorn (me too), grab yourself a cheap popcorn maker from Amazon (I have this one) and make your own, superbly healthy snack and you can determine just how bad you want to make it for yourself by adding your own flavourings: Kernal Seasons do some great stuff, like chilli & lime. Great start mate, you could well have lost that weight already if you're drinking plenty of fluids as well, it really can come off quick.

IF Tradelink did pick it up, then that's completely up to them. Their risk, their money, etc.

No truth at all, your right foot controls fuel consumption. They can sound raspy and crap, but a quality resonated pair should be fine. You'll have to swap your old cats back in once a year for the MOT. Unless you're going to remap for the extra power, or are after ultra weight saving, I wouldn't bother.

Less pasta, much more salad. Salad cream is fine, if that's what it takes to get you eating it. I chuck a load of dressing on my salad, only costs me 30kcals though which is nothing. Good effort though mate, one step at a time

What ever you replace the Z with don't but anything German!!
Ekona replied to gangzoom's topic in Other Cars
All cars break down, fact of life sadly. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't. No doubting that quality control has dipped a bit in recent years, but that goes for Jap stuff as well as German. The reason people notice it more with German cars is that there's a lot more of them now. -

No food at all? That's a sh*t reception, I'd be off home. Go drink a load of water or squash or CokeZero or whatever has low calories, fill your belly. Orange juice would be good too, seeing as how you've not eaten.
-
That's not good mate, eating too little will cause your body to hoard whatever it is you do give it. Go have another sandwich, maybe with some thin ham, lettuce and tomato in. Or whatever you've got that isn't bacon.

Sorry, was making a bad joke on the dual/duel thing.
