  1. I love going from 7th to 3rd in mine, it never gets dull
  2. I always wondered what would happen if you tried that!
  3. No-one knows yet, although if they don't release on other platforms then they've definitely lost the plot. I'd say you'd be looking at around a 6 to 8 month period, so get all the DLC out of the way and then release a GOTY edition for all platforms.
  4. Ah I guess if you had lorries at the end, that would make a bit more sense. I did 176 in mine, which is why the 167 of the GT-Rs sounded a bit low.
  5. Lee Nelson is about as funny as ball cancer. And AIDS. At the same time.
  6. Rise Of The Tomb Raider is an Xbone exclusive next Christmas! Didn't see that one coming. Shocked.
  7. Completely irrelevant. Her insurance is paying to put you back in the same position you were in beforehand. Nothing you can do affects your right as a third party to make a claim. You claim from them, your insurer doesn't need to get involved if she's admitted liability. Just deal with them direct. However! Now might be a good time to call your insurer and tell them about every single thing over and above a stock car, and pay any increased premium in case you have an accident in the future that IS your fault.
  8. Hard life, isn't it?!
  9. Sorry, I meant the speeds! 167mph is very low for a GT-R on that straight.
  10. It's the weight, not the air box. Ragtop has about 150kg on the coupe, that massively blunts performance. Going back to the stock air box won't change that, I'm afraid.
  11. Hey, if you find him funny that's all that matters, I genuinely appreciate the thread as good comedy is hard to find outside of the mainstream. Just so happens this time it's not to my taste, but if you know of anything else please post up
  12. Suicide, apparently.
  13. I didn't get it either. I see what he was going for, but just not my cup of tea I'm afraid.

Any mapping is always a risk, as is dyno time. It's why they make you sign a waiver before going on a dyno. If you have any worries at all, don't do it. On the other hand, it wouldn't bother me in the slightest as long as you go with a reputable tuner.
  15. Seems a bit low for a GTR at Brunters. Did they have the whole straight? Looks like a great day, and the money raised is a great result
  16. Great service too, really helpful bunch of guys if you ever need to speak to them
  17. I've got a small Lowepro bag that I used to use for my old video camera, so I binned the video camera and just shoved all the bits in that instead. Stuff kinda gets wedged in there rather than fits
  18. I know where there's a decent engine up for grabs soonish, if that's any help?
  19. Buy this suction mount, NOT the official one. Far superior, and this is the one the pros use when filming. You WILL need the bigger battery, even with it mine doesn't last more than a few hours if you're on/off/WiFi. That is, unless you run it from USB all the time which I now do when in the car if at all possible. Any monopod will do, just find a cheap one from eBay. You can use the GoPro thread adaptor you get with the suction mount I linked to to attach it.
  20. Eeep! Rings gone? I assume precats were removed ages ago.
  21. It is, I'd much rather be there in the MR2, much more fun.
  22. The worse thing they ever did was call them sidelights. If they'd called them parking lights, people might have an idea as to what they should really be used for.
  23. Yeah, pretty much. It's all down to practice, much like shifting without using the clutch at all.
  24. It's pointless on modern cars with synchromesh. Mate of mine does it, despite never having driven anything that old which I find utterly bizarre!
  25. They work on a high-turnover rate of cars, and they also work on the principle that if you can blind the customer with science they're less likely to cause you any harm. They have a lot of nice motors there, and tbh my next purchase may well come from them, but I will go in with my eyes firmly open and everything will be in writing.
