Safe limit on the DE engine is 400bhp ish. You'll never get there without a major NA build, at which point the limit goes up again. Without a remap none of your mods will make any power difference, and a poor tune can kill an engine dead in seconds.

Yup, Rogue are doing the lot. No mapping though, but the tune I'm pinching is a very safe one for a 1ZZ. All bled with engine on, very odd. That is, until today when Patrick pointed out the leak between master cylinder and booster when I dropped the car off Ah well, easy fix and they can sort that for me too.

What seats were they? Huge difference between original, probax and Exige seats.

Right, car is back with me now and the brakes are... better. Not perfect, but they're better. Apparently they're just full of air, and given that I've bled them multiple times, the local Jag specialist has bled them multiple times, and now my local Pork specialist has bled them multiple times, then that's a lot of air! Never had this issue before across multiple '2s, so it's a bit weird. PSR Automotive have done a great job in getting them better, and also giving it a go for me when they're snowed under with work on proper cars. Hopefully the brakes will get fixed for sure when the car goes to Rogue tomorrow, as they're MR2 specialists.

Dude, chill! If you've been on here that long you know we're only playing! That said, if there is an issue with the car (i.e. previous crash damage etc) then it would be beneficial to publicise it here, so that future owners don't get misled. Not saying you've done anything wrong at all, we all ditch cars off at the dealer in less than perfect condition sometimes, just it's nice to have a history of Zeds.

Realistically if a superbike decides to take off and it's not on a motorway and no helicopter above, then there's pretty much zero chance of being caught.
