There is no 'best'. Personally I'd be running a 10w-30 in a Zed of that mileage, but that's just an opinion. On a lower mileage car, I'd prob go for a 5w-30.

You just didn't get it home matey, easily done. Even when you think you have, these things can be awkward! I normally give the dipstick a spin through 360 when I've got it in place, usually confirms it's in or it'll pop back out as it wasn't quite perfect.

Then be careful. They're amazing, but they grip and grip and grip then snap: They're not massively progressive on the limit in the dry. They're are very communicative in the wet though! If you're sliding a lot then you'll burn through them quickly, which can make it interesting for the drive home... Amazing tyres though, I ran them as road tyres on my Zed and still use them on the MR2.

What's the weight of the IS200? Compared with the BMW equivalent. I suspect the BMW would make the better track car by some margin. Cheaper and more available parts, too.

What lenses do you have?

He hasn't driven the Cayman yet, has he? 'Evora, Cayman and E92 still to do'? You really should be adding 997 to that list. C2S sub-£30k all day long. 996TT too. Evoras aren't that cheap yet though.

They're not too far off, but you will notice the difference.

That's the big plus about the MPSS, you get more than your money's worth as they last so long. Eagle F1s are excellent, but honestly if you're happy with the RE050A and could find the cash for them, then I would stick with those. They're really very good.

Personally, I'd be spending money on quality lenses over a new camera. That's where you can really notice the difference these days IMHO.
