  1. Best chat up line ever
  2. Lucky sod! I admit, iTunes isn't the be all and end all, but once you understand how it works and just let it get on with it, it's absolutely fine. I have all my music running from a NAS, with a single iTunes library that updates from either my PC or Jo's iMac. It accepts stuff from my iTunes account or hers, ripped CDs, or dodgy stuff I get from the interweb. Was it a faff setting it up? Yes, but only because I was trying to force it to do something that it wasn't designed for. Once I figured that out, and guided it on its way, it was more than happy. Half the trouble with moving from Windows/Linux stuff to Apple stuff is that you're so used to bodging everything, that you can't accept that there's a program that has s singular way of doing things. I used to love telling Win where to install stuff, as I wanted it in specific places to make my life easier. I can't do that with Apple stuff so easily, so it's best just to let it do its own thing and then you find it's actually a terrific piece of software.
  3. Well, it was one of those things that sent my bullsh*t alarm ringing loudly, so I had a quick google and couldn't find anything remotely related to that at all. Hence the lol smiley as it sounds like one of those awful made up bits of propaganda you see on FB and the like.
  4. I tracked an '06 roadster with full Summit underbody bracing back to back with a HR coupe. The coupe was far superior, and that was the exact moment I started turning away from convertibles. That said, I agree 100% with Alex: On the roads, at normal speeds, you will never notice any difference. I certainly didn't until that single trackday, as I was more than happy with my old ragtop.
  5. How did iTunes delete half of your collection?

  7. The biggest issue I have with iOS is that it's practically impossible to step back to a previous OS. It's a given that putting a new OS on an older device will make it slower (it's always been like that, think about when we went from XP to Vista then Vista to Win7 etc), but it shouldn't be impossible to go back. That irks me.
  8. Where on earth did you read that?!
  9. iTunes works on every version of OSX and Windows since it was released. Even the current iTunes 11.4 will work on XP with SP3, and that's not even supported by MS any more.
  10. That's exactly how I choose my devices: Which one will irritate me the least!

HR can knock detect better than the DE, so will retard quite happily. DE cannot at high RPM, which is where most of the damage is done. I cannot fathom people who put 95 in when every single time they open the filler cap it states 98 or higher!* *At least, I think it does.
  12. If youre trying to argue the i6 is anywhere near the droid devices technically speaking you are on a hiding to nothing, as Stews picture above kinda supports Depends on your definition of technically, I guess. Personally I'd consider that something that benchmarks at the top of multiple programs to be pretty damn impressive, however if all you want to do is store stuff on an SD card then yeah, no iPhone can top that. I bet I can find lots of programs that don't run on KitKat though, so I don't think that's a helpful comparison to make.

Assuming, of course, yours isn't a HR model.

Very possible it's caused plenty of damage, but sadly that's just a risk you'll have to take now.
  15. Outperformed by latest Android devices? That's not what Anandtech seem to think As far as upgrading goes, why bother with anything over the original iPhone? Still makes calls, and texts, and browses the interweb...
  16. The latest patch has reduced the difficulty on a few missions: Missions – Shrine of Oryx: Reduced difficulty by removing majors from Heroic tiers – Sword of Crota: Reduced difficulty by removing majors from Heroic tiers – Exclusion Zone: Reduced difficulty by removing majors from Heroic tiers Any of those the one you mention above, Will?
  17. There's a 370 though Might have to give this a whirl.
  18. If only we had a dedicated signature field in the actual forum software, where people could write whatever they wanted or perhaps even put a picture in...
  19. Don't spunk it on a mortgage. Dull, dull, dull. Do something that will give you memories on your deathbed. No ever laid there dying in bed and said "Oh, I wish I'd paid more into my mortgage when I was younger!".
  20. Sadly it was in one of those silly display cradles so you couldn't hold it properly to determine. My initial thoughts are that it's acceptable considering what it is, but you'll (well, I'll) look a mong with it held to my ear. I think it'll be a case of getting used to it, rather than thinking it's a perfect size and why doesn't everyone have one.
  21. I just had a play with one in the EE shop. Very nice design, I'd forgotten how much I missed the curves of the 3GS.
  22. Most of my business is in the UK, yet I still wouldn't vote to leave.
  23. I just hope Lewis is leading the championship by the last race. I then hope he's smart enough to do a Prost/Senna/Schumacher, because I can promise you that if things are reversed, Rosberg won't think twice about it.
  24. Just stop using Tapatalk. The normal website runs fine on mobile devices.
