350bhp would've put it against the Boxster/Cayman, and there's no way it's winning that fight. Sadly, the big guys really have most of the market sown up right now in terms of stuff that's desirable by the mass market.

I still don't see that as a major draw, I really don't. Same as the GTR for more money, same as the R8 for the same money but a more boring soundtrack.

The i8 is nothing like the NSX. The i8 is highly desirable, for one. If Honda is making cars with the U.S. market first and foremost in their minds, then they're not a car company I want to buy a halo product from.

Over an Audi R8 V10? Or any number of lightly used proper supercars from Italy? I dunno, I just don't think I could do it. It would have to be something truly inspirational to drive to make me consider it.
