    McLaren 570s

    Guilty as charged!
  3. It's because it matters not a jot. Some people just get really anal over stuff like this, when it makes two halves of f*ck all difference.
  4. Oh I dunno, that sounds very 'manly' to me
  5. Drove a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder. Is that manly or not? One hand V10, on the other hand hairdresser convertible. A generous 6/10?

    McLaren 570s

Some people do, yes. Look at the people on here who own a 350Z just because it's different. Some people just buy the best car for them, and to hell what others think. The 570 would have to be a very special drive to tempt me ahead of a 911TT. It's not just the performance, it's also the practicality, and a 2+2 4WD sports car is a very practical thing indeed. That said, I wouldn't actually buy either, as at that price I'd be hanging off a used 458 instead. Bearing in mind options, you're looking at the McLaren being the wrong side of £160K I suspect.
  7. If she does like it, then two things would happen: 1. The rest of my life WILL BE AMAZING 2. I will kick myself forever for wasting years when I could've known this
  8. If she likes Naughty Cheerleaders In Jello, then sure, it'll be a great present.
  9. Bah, rumbled! Wonder if it's anything to do with me turning wifi sync on last night? Never usually do that.
  10. To be fair it doesn't do every time on mine, just when I first logged on today so I threw a hissy fit because I hate the obtrusive piece of crap
  11. This is an impossible question to answer, unless we have the OP's address. BP is fine. Tesco is fine. Sainsburys is fine. Esso is fine. Shell is fine. Gulf is fine. Texaco is fine. Anything 97 or higher is fine. Fresher is better.
  12. It's the only time everyone in the room is 100% correct all the time
  13. I was just about to post something like that, when I realised I already had done
  14. I DON'T EFFING CARE ABOUT THE APP AVAILABLE FOR THIS FORUM, I'M ON A IPAD THAT HAS A GIGANTIC SCREEN, STOP ASKING ME EVERYTIME I VISIT THE SITE!!!11 srsly though guise, it's very irritating.
  15. MPSS. Michelin Pilot Super Sport. Best value in terms of mileage, and best performance as well.
  16. You can't put babies in a forward facing seat until they're 15mths old.
  17. No idea. She does the saving, I do the spending.
  18. Either on a private plate, or more likely its a 2002 car imported in 2009.
  19. But on a zero contract you could enrol in a part time training course, and then have flexible hours working to cover that and living I'm not saying there shouldn't be rules, like limit the max time working for one company to two years or whatever, but to scrap them removes someone's ability to earn money. Ignoring the wider utopian dream of everyone having work they love for great money, if you take away zero contracts then you and I WlLL be paying for them out of our pockets instead. If you folks who want them done away with are happy to pay extra taxes to cover this, then go right ahead. Personally, I'm not.
  20. And that sums exactly why I have zero interest in ever purchasing an EV, ever. I mean, it's a great write up and I'd be proud to have written that myself, but for me even the most boring drive in a diesel FWD van on a DC at 60mph still leaves me feeling involved in my hobby, my passion. Take away all of the oily stuff and the vibrations and the feedback and the mechanical clunks and I might as well not bother. Or be asleep. For a business man being chauffeured around so he can work in the rear seats an EV may make sense, but if I ever buy one I hope someone takes me out and shoots me. But yeah, great writing fella, despite my comments I really enjoyed reading that
  21. Oh, and congrats on the baby Cazbudd!
  22. Why do you think that? Just tell them, if you feel so inclined. Personally, I'm not sure I'd bother. Plenty of vehicles come with switches to deactivate the airbags these days, you don't have to tell them every time you turn that off. How many people replace their steering wheels with non-airbag ones? Again, no issues at all.
  23. They'll probably remove the three thousand other weights on there and do a proper job at the same time.
  24. You don't know what you're buying? Ask the seller at least.
