  1. Thanks for the help guys. Feel more confident about getting an import if it comes to it. I may just swap cars with my partner for a year as then can keep the 350z. On autotrader there is a Skyline that says it's 2009 but the number plate is 52. Would this be because it's an import, they don't do number plates like they do here?
  2. Thank you. :-) If I disabled the airbags then on the off chance I had a serious accident... I as the driver might get seriously injured as I disabled the airbags and when insurance company looks into it they won't pay out to fix other parties car or my car or accident compensation due to modification? I just find it strange that Nissan hasn't put a switch in the 350. My mum has a Nissan whereby you use the key fob to switch airbag on passenger side off or on. I guess Nissan figured no one would put a baby in the 350 but as long as you're not zooming round the race track I don't see why you wouldn't. Cuts the consumer market down as now I'll have to sell up.
  3. Will be another 18 years before I can get a 350 but on the plus side might be able to upgrade to a 370. Out of interest what are the cons of buying an import if I were to go for the skyline? Is insurance a lot higher? Do parts cost more if something were to go wrong?
  4. Yeah I agree. Just really don't want to get rid of it! The car I mean. Definitely keeping baby lol
  5. Thanks can you get a Skyline in the UK? Is it the same as an infiniti G35? I did see another thread. Don't think there is a definitive answer and unfortunately can't risk it. Even Nissan customer services didn't know!
  6. To those of you with knowledge... I have a Nissan 350z but recently have fell pregnant. Is there any way to deactivate the passenger airbags without voiding the insurance by tampering with fuse etc. Do Nissan install on/ off switches for passenger to enable a child to ride along? Mine is a 2006 model and I'm a UK resident. On some forums there are those that say there is an automatic sensor that turns off the airbag when there is little weight in the seat but is this just a rumour? Lastly if it is impossible and I'm forced to sell the best car in the world does anyone know of a 4/5 seater that has the aesthetics of a 350z?
