BBK is massive overkill. Unless you're having issues already where you're locking the brakes constantly or have issues with heat, then you don't need bigger brakes. You're also adding unsprung mass, which will affect handling to a small degree. Clutch and fly will make massive differences to your drive however, as you'll have an engine that revs more freely so will lose less power from the drivetrain. That plus the headers will give you a net gain of around 10bhp at a guess, but in terms of feeling it will feel a lot quicker. The rattle is nothing, it's only there when idling anyway and how often do you sit there at idle thinking how nice your car sounds? Mine was as bad a one as I've ever heard, and even then it was just an acknowledgement of how awesome I was for fitting something that cool.

When even BMW go FWD, you know that the future of cheap RWD cars is in peril. I suspect the reason we haven't seen power versions of the Toyobaru is that the regular versions aren't selling enough to justify the niche market they'd enter at the price they will have to be. Be afraid for the 370 successor, be very afraid. Unless you really want 4WD and upwards of £40K, I guess.

Very nice, good purchase matey Odd you mention the 645, as the 335 was my original plan until I ended up with the V8. Oddly I don't find the E63 to feel that big on the roads, I'll have to have a look in a minute as to how mine compares with yours size-wise. Beautiful looking car though, that's a great colour combo you've gone for. I'd stick with the 17"s though, cheaper rubber and better handling to boot. Edit: Mine's 8" longer, 3" wider, identical height, and 75kg heavier. Or that's what I tell the ladies, any way

Our new kitten, Lexi. She's very sweet, just 9 weeks old now. Our other two cats aren't really sure what to make of her: Zelda tolerates her but is still scared of her, Geldof hisses and has given her a couple of gently whacks so far. Better than I thought we might get, though!
