  1. 997.2 C2S PDK. Miss it like crazy, tbh.
  2. My 911 cost me no more to run than my 350Z. Fuel was less, servicing was more but less frequent, parts more, but I modded the Zed and not the 911. Tyres were more but then I was on 19"s, if you ran a Zed on 19"s then you'd be the same again. Initial purchase cost aside, there's no difference in running costs I found. Same with BMW or Audi stuff, it's only really when you get to the Italian supercars that they make your eyes water with running costs.

    R888... R?!

I always use GG on my cars, so that's everything from the VXR to the MR2 to the 350Z, and have tried the GG on an RX8 too. I had no issues on any of them, and tbh I didn't even realised they did an XL 888. That might be worth a punt, but given that you don't get a huge amount of feel on an 888 compared to, say, an 048, I wonder if the XL might make that worse?
  4. Interesting idea, mine's on an external drive and I've had no issues with frame rate.

I just went off the DT website, for ease. I do normally buy my 888s from there though, they always seem to have very good stock.

£5 a tyre more expensive, working on a 225/40/18. Bargain!
  7. Some amazing racing last night, although it turns out I either win by a country mile (one race) or spin off and end up at the back after 3 corners (all the other races!) Will, to save this getting lost do you want to unstick the FM5 league at the top and put this one there instead?
  8. That's why I suspect the cylinders: FIne from cold, but as the fluid and seals heat up they're allowing fluid to pass which is why the pedal gets longer. Pedal height at standstill sounds okay.
  9. I suspect the slave/master cylinder. Fluid should be fine unless you have reason to think otherwise, and if the clutch isn't slipping that's probably okay too.
  10. They don't quote you.
  11. I dunno, I think they should ask about the awareness course. Whether you look at it as a positive thing (more aware of the risks) or a negative one (caught speeding in the first place), it should still have an impact on the premium. Quite honestly, I think I'd prefer them to treat a SAC the same as an SP30. Maybe not fashionable to say on a motoring forum, but there you go.
  12. But if they ask, you do have to tell them, you can't lie.

See, everyone says that about the regular 888s and I found them to be incredibly good in the wet, considering. I can't see these being any worse.
  14. If an insurer asks, I would simply decline to insure my car with them.
  15. Gearbox and suspension. Suspension especially, and with that mileage it's going to need doing. Budget to replace it, and budget to replace the gearbox. If you can do both comfortably, then I say go for it
  16. No idea, Porkers seem to be worse for it than anything.
  17. I'm glad he's sticking around, politics needs characters like him.
  18. Very, very drunk.
  19. Likewise, my FB feed is full of it right now. Tbh I can't be bothered to argue with them, I'm as unlikely to convince them I'm right as they are to convince me I'm wrong, so I say let everyone have their little rant and get it out of their system. By September, no-one will be that bothered.
  20. Which is why nobody voted for them.
  21. So who cancelled what?

Yup, totally legal. Checked on the DT website, my sizes are available next month!

  24. None of that makes any sense.
