  1. I'll take a stab at the 2.7 with no PASM? Looks quite tall, and I think they're the Cayman S standard wheels.
  2. You do realise you can get it worked on anywhere and keep the warranty perfectly intact? As long as OEM or equivalent quality parts are used, any registered garage can work on it happily.
  3. For a gain of precisely zero horsepower, is it worth the risk? Tell him not to be so silly, and put the intake in a more sensible place.
  4. They're a consumable, they should be changed every four years. Do you only do your oil every 70k miles too? Or your air filter?
  5. Yeah, they won't Change them every four years.
  6. No-one can possibly realise how steep that banking is, until you see it in person.
  7. A little bit Best sensible money sports car you can buy. Same as the 987 was, and the 986... The Zed isn't even in the same ballpark. It's like comparing the Zed to a Fiesta ST.
  8. I have no idea if that's a serious comment or not!
  9. If only they did an Aventador with a manual...
  10. HR FTMFW Congrats on your purchase
  11. I'm actually quite drunk replying to this right now. Box o' wine ftw!
  12. Sounds like a plan
  13. So caused by overbreeding?
  14. Has there actually been a decent heavyweight fight for years? Haye vs Valuev was entertaining, but only because of the size difference. Sadly, the heavyweight division really isn't that great these days.
  15. Exactly what I did. Granted, I knew Grundy and StevoD from on here, but you never really know what people will be like in real life. Luckily everyone I chatted with was awesome, even folks I'd never met before, and people on other stands were so friendly as well. I felt bad walking past one guy who had clearly bought enough food to feed an army, giving away freshly cooked burgers, but I was so stuffed to eat that I couldn't fit anything else in! I'd actually argue that the Jap scene is the friendliest one I know, or certainly on a par with the Lotus one. That's very high praise indeed. Never be afraid to go and start a conversation.p, you'd be surprised at how many folks are willing to chat about card for hours on end to complete strangers
  16. Mucho respect to Grundy for making such an awesome site, I feel privileged to be a part of it and hope you guys enjoy reading as much as I did writing
  17. Your car is on 100k miles?
  18. See, if more 20 year olds drove Jags, they'd get away with drink driving far more often!
  19. Do people generally drink that much then? I mean, I'll have a glass of wine with dinner 2 or 3 times a week, and maybe a proper session once every 4 months with friends, but that's about it. Certainly nothing I'd ever consider heavy, like having a bottle of wine every night or going out on a bender all weekend.
  20. Nope. Everything in moderation, including moderation. I personally think, and I don't mean this specifically at you or as an insult at all mate, that if people start needing to quit something altogether then they were probably at the point where they were going to have a real problem with it. Applies equally to drinking as it does to smoking or drugs or masturbation, or whatever.
  21. I was banking on no-one here having one of those
  22. So you turned her the wrong way then... ;)
  23. Great boobs, and yeah they're filthy as hell: The stories she told me of the farmer's parties would've made Caligula blush!
  24. I remember dating a girl once who didn't give a toss about how much she drank before getting behind the wheel. She was a Young Farmer, and I guess that kind of thing is okay when you own all the land on which you're getting tanked up, but I just couldn't fathom it and it put me right off straight away. Bloody morals, cost me a bunk up
  25. There shouldn't be any difference at all, if it's not mapped for it. Any difference will be down to weather conditions rather than swapping between 97 and 99, or maybe even just wishful thinking!
