  1. How come changing the air filter affects warranty, but the steering wheel and two-pipe mod don't?
  2. I care I wouldn't buy one just for low CCT. You'll have to look at everything else too, running costs, leasing costs, mileage etc to see if it works for you.
  3. Just had the exact same conversation with someone else on another forum. It really is no different to how things are run now in this country when it comes to elections, it's just on a greater scale.
  4. MPSC2 are already out, have been for a couple of years. Looks like there won't be an MPSS successor as such, as the tyre was so good they didn't even bother with a mid-term revision. They will still make the MPSS but only in OEM application sizes, so the new Focus RS will have a stock for at least the next five years I'd guess. Anything else than came on them from the factory too.
  5. Outdated inf, no longer applies following Beavis.
  6. Michelin confirm in EVO this month that the MPS4 *is* the replacement for the MPSS! They're dropping 17 & 18 inch MPSS this year, which massively affects 350 owners (and me!), although 19+ will continue for now. They've dropped the dual compound too, just a regular silica mix for now. Interesting times ahead. I remain unconvinced.
  7. Oh you wait until you start trying to take bumpers off to replace rads, and undoing various suspension bits to change them: You'll never love German engineering again Some BMW bits are incredibly well engineered, some are just utterly insane.
  8. To assume that everything will be absolutely fine is either naivety, or stupidity. Yes, I can see that things *might* be better after we leave, after a period of many years, but I can't see how you can honestly believe there will not be a very real cost to your pocket.
  9. A lot has changed since those agreements were made. We may well find that the beneficiaries may well not be us in the new world order. This is the thing: There's so many unanswered questions and risks to leaving. Until the Leave camp can answer those questions, I can't see how they can claim any kind of high ground.
  10. Of course prices will go up: There will be more paperwork involved on a B2B level which will get passed to the customer, and then there's the actual cost of leaving the EU: You can only imagine how much the lawyers are going to make by charging the government, so who do you think pays for that? Ultimately, it will cost the taxpayer billions in the short term. It might be via cuts, or it might be via taxes. Whether we can make that back over 10+ years is an unknown, I'm not going to argue either way on that point as I simply don't know myself, but to suggest there won't be an immediate and very real cost is misleading at best.
  11. Tbh, just get whatever colour you can then have it wrapped. That way, you can literally have any car you want But yes, Chrome Orange is a Lotus colour across the range.
  12. See, we know our onions. You already said how much you love the look of the Exige, that for me screams that it's the car for you. Go with your gut, it's almost always right!
  13. Apart from the bit about Boris as PM, as I'd like that very much, I agree: It's terrifying. It is, they just don't realise it. They don't realise just how deeply this will affect them, regardless of the outcome. Much like the GE, there's a lot of people who are just incredibly ignorant about the issues, even on a very basic level.
  14. Unless you're very comfortable doing so, I wouldn't be turning up for a customer meeting in an Exige. Sends off the wrong impressions, sadly, and I get the feeling that impressions are very important to you. 350 you can laugh off as only a Nissan, Jag is still an old-man brand so that's okay, GTR looks like a box so again it's okay, but what is essentially (to most people) a racing car? I think you may not find impressions favourable. Personally I'd split the fund, go buy an S2 Exige and something to trot around to offices in.
  15. You can, just! That's a no-brainer then, if you're even remotely happy living inside an Exige then you have to get one, especially if you've never had an Elise-variant before.
  16. Standard F-Type non-S is far from slow! It's a heavy car though, which does blunt it somewhat, but slow? Not a chance. Can you really get a V6 Exige for £40K?
  17. I'll be impressed if they allow that appeal, but good luck mate
  18. Pretty reasonable injunction really, certainly wouldn't stop a few of us from here heading down as long as no-one was acting the fool.
  19. Ekona

    0 - 60 mph..

Noise & looks. Just look at it man, it's a lovely car! And with those exhaust bits, I bet it sounds amazing too.
  20. You're forgetting my e-peen is bigger than yours with my mighty 980
  21. So what was the issue you returned it for? Come on, don't leave us hanging!
  22. Nope, as I mentioned above DE revup cars have the better headlights too. Yup, revup. Trust me chaps, the only single external OEM difference between DE and HR is the bonnet. Everything else could be found on a DE-engined car (as long as it had a revup engine in).
  23. No thanks, I prefer to have sex with actual women than fap myself silly over an extra 2fps ;)
  24. Bonnet bulge is the only giveaway (assuming it's not been changed!). Everything else could be found on a DE revup car, so that's lights & bumper.
