  1. I had the 911 on PCP. Essentially you're looking at paying £18K for the use of a new car, unless you decide to pay another £15K at the end to keep it. If you're happy with the sums then go for it, just work out when your break even point is so you can hand it back if you need to get out of it quickly. It's usually pretty close to the end of term anyway, but I'd certainly be haggling the numbers as low as possible still. I'm not convinced the CTR will be worth £15K in three years either, so if that's the case it would work massively in your favour just to hand it back and walk away. Are they available on regular lease deals at all?
  2. Mine also just says that the tickets will be posted out. I made two separate orders too, over a month apart, and they both say the same.
  3. Dragged up scrotes is also an acceptable term I find No kids here either. It'll happen at some point, but no rush. I've still got too many things I want to do with my life before I start worrying about other people's. I get why a lot of people are saying that he should talk to his other half, but tbh if it's already at the point where he can't stand to be in the same room as her then I can't see that the relationship has any long term future at all. I'd be packing my bags, grabbing a four pack of beer and a subscription to Sky Sports as I left the house.
  4. How did we get so far without saying ??!! I think our standards are slipping, gents.
  5. I think it's a great idea. Put your energy where it's wanted, not where it's not.
  6. I hope you Bridgestone guys mean the 050A, not the awful 040s... Try the PS4 mate, they're the latest and greatest although not replacing the MPSS, be interested to see what you think of them
  7. It's quite surprising the number of people on here who seem to have to 'work' at their relationships. I'm not saying it's a bad thing at all, just that I didn't quite expect that many people (blokes especially) to own up.

    Coilovers

I meant do you want to convert the rears to coilovers too. As stock they are separate dampers and springs. If you want to convert you need to consider strengthening of the rear mounting points. Do you just want the stock setup, but with adjustable dampers?
  9. If you do, it's over. I can count on one hand the number of people who move out and then go back. But yes, I would leave. Work out any financials now before things get bitter (snakes with tits remains true, I don't care how sexist it is), and remind yourself that you're doing this so that things can get better for both of you. Not gonna lie, you'll probably spend a few evenings on your own crying yourself to sleep, but I can promise you that you'll be a happier and better person this time next year. If you ever need a sounding board from somewhere who's been where you are now, and I've some really fun stories about those dark days, then feel free to PM me mate. The offer is always there.
  10. On a serious note though, end it and move on. You'll feel lonely and empty as hell at first, but it *will* get better and you'll be a happier person for it. Sticking together only makes two people more miserable, and life is too short for that. Sex isn't everything though, not by a long shot. She may have been exactly what you needed at that time in your life when you met her, but people change even if they don't mean to.
  11. "The old lady was 98, so was well past her 'good innings' anyway!"
  12. Ah, but then as the opposing legal counsel I would argue that the manufacturer knew your car had limited visibility due to it's sports car design, and so they put a wiper on there for that exact reason
  13. That's my point: What if you reversed over an old lady because you couldn't see out of the rear screen?
  14. Probably. However, would the ombudsman rule if your favour if there was a claim that went against you because you'd removed the wiper? Would you fancy your chances in court? Although as I said, I don't think I'd bother.
  15. I jest! Personally no, even I wouldn't bother and I'm very anal about stuff like that. However, no harm in ringing them and asking the question, at least you know for sure then.
  16. No such thing as a stupid question, only a stupid answer. So, bananas.
  17. Actually, that's a really good idea about using a friend to practice overtaking. You could film it that way too, to see how your driving actually looks/sounds to others. I might well have to try that, that's superb, thanks!
  18. I was going off a customer review, like most people do. The fact that customers have been trying to get through to him and cannot because he can't/won't return phonecalls or emails would seem a trifle daft to me, especially if what Pritchard says is true, however clearly it's working for Taras. You're right, he doesn't have to visit here, so fair comment on that. However, the fact his first visit in two months is to have a pop back at me rather than apologise for not contacting the OP speaks volumes. That said, this thread is doing the OP no favours and I've made my point, so I'll leave it at that. People are free to make up their own mind as to whether they would want to deal with someone who is clearly difficult to get hold of.
  19. What sort of ungrounded statement is this?! You haven't done business with us at all.. Generalising like this is ridiculous. Ungrounded? Hardly. Pritchard, who has used you, has said that you tend to reply more to emails with flowery subjects in the title. If that's wrong then fine, I hold my hands up, but guess what? The fact that you tend to ignore this place unless prompted by your mate (your last post was January, I notice) kinda also gives the game away. The OP has been desperately trying to get hold you of you with zero luck, and I very much doubt that if Adrian hadn't prompted you that would continue to be the case. And yes, I am negative, especially when confronted with BS. I have a relatively low tolerance for stuff like that. Although I'm not a keyboard warrior at all, I'll happily say whatever I say on here to your face. Ask Amy if you want proof. Taras, I'm sure your work is good and I'm not knocking that at all. What I was implying is that choosing to reply to customers selectively on whether or not they choose to decorate the subject line on their email is a ridiculous way to do business. Of that, I'm pretty sure you'd agree with me.
  20. Sorry bud, that's incorrect. More horsepower != faster. With better tyres and brakes you accelerate quicker, turn harder, and stop in less distance. That's how you'll go faster, and it'll be a significant difference too.

    Coilovers

Are you looking for a full coilover conversion, or as per the OEM setup?
  22. That's a ridiculous way to do business.
