  1. I can't comment on the quality of the pads, but that's pretty much the exact same set of polishes I keep as my go-to set (I'll use S30 rather than S40, but we're splitting hairs here). I also used to use a DAS6 when I first started, and it's a solid piece of kit. The Scholl stuff is highly recommended as it contains no fillers, so the finish you see once wiped clean is the finish you end up with. That's about as good a kit as I've seen for sale. Add one of each of these pads to it, and you'll have a quality set able to tackle most things that a DA machine can.
  2. The correct answer is that on a brand new car, you can take your car anywhere to be serviced as long as they use OEM-quality parts, without affecting your warranty. That is enshrined in European law.

Ah, but the rest of us don't have to have a mandatory booster seat fitted ;)
  4. Just promise me that, when this is over, that you'll remove all the stupid things and replace them with regular nuts.
  5. It won't be the fuel, or at least it's highly unlikely to be. You might notice stale fuel by knocking at high revs, but pootling out of the garage in reverse? Very doubtful. My guess would be an air leak post-MAF, so the car isn't reading the amount of air actually entering the throttle body. Pop the deck and give everything a real good wiggle, see if anything has dried out or come loose.

Great minds and all that! At least I bothered with the applause too :p
  7. Y'know what? I haven't, and I think I'm glad of that
  8. Pointless. Much like CIE, all this does is make life awkward for people who do bother to play by the rules. Would a criminal in a car who wanted to disguise the identity change the colour by wrapping the car (cost £1000), or change the plates (cost £20)? No brainer. And what do you do if the entire vehicle isn't covered? What constitutes an entire vehicle wrap? And yes, I've done mine before anyone asks.

A biscuit? A tiny round of applause? A hamster? The world is your oyster. I suggest starting with a large demand, then expect to be haggled down. So maybe a 200m yacht, and then settle for a Curly Wurly.

Or the civilised world, as we call it.

*tyres And they're okay. What are you putting on the front?
  17. Correct, by law he was deemed to be in control of the vehicle. However, you can't prosecute someone for speeding when they weren't driving. Drunk in charge? Possibly, but they have no idea how much he'd drunk and he might say he was just being cautious after having half a shandy. It's impossible to prosecute beyond reasonable doubt. So I say again, would you be happy to be banned from driving in the same circumstances?

Def an F, you can tell by the bonnet drop off at the front and the height of the wing mirrors. And the little shark fin thing at the back. V6 S manual?
