  1. Push it out on to the public roads then call the police. Deny all knowledge of how it got there.
  2. Tasty stuff. Are you buying them or have you already got some? these 5zigens look a bit smarter... http://z-store.co.uk/index.cfm?fuseacti ... rentCat=30
  3. Forton services, just before 3.00pm Saturday. Check! See you there Martin, you were the first other Z I ever saw after buying mine so it will be interesting to see if it is still as shiny after a year or so
  4. Mine is so hopelessly dirty I think I may just give up and go for the wooden spoon award

  6. I`ve got the KW spanners from when Phil fitted mine. I'm not exactly offering to get down in the dirt but you are welcome to borrow them. Co-incidentally, I was there to get my suspension fitted the day you drove off in your new car! I remember you stalled it after about 5 feet (sorry) but you were very excited! If you want, PM me nearer the time or I will forget!
  7. ...yet What do you mean
  8. I have some tomatoes in the fridge, I'm setting up a rival company.
  9. We don't have poisonous spiders in the UK either but I still get freaked by them
  10. I consider myself
  11. Two Z's. Silver 54 plate at Powburn services on Sta morning, with a nice 5zigen exhaust Silver 56 plate on the Wooler-Morpeth road at about 8pm, giving it some beans on the nice roads
  12. Well it's peeing it down here at the moment
  13. Improve delivery of air to the front two cylinders which are a little starved by the standard plenum chamber design. The engine runs more efficiently and you get a noticeable shift of torque down the rev band, which is nice
  14. I tried to call the NHS helpline but all I got was crackling
  15. Caution, it's a bit rude at the end (also very sexist, but in a funny way). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SXNAtwY ... r_embedded
  16. Just a quick post to big-up Revolution who are only a few miles away from my house. I needed a P2 and being in the NE with ESR sadly gone and the new northern Envy not quite there yet, where to go? Revolution did an oil+filter change (Millers used as standard) for just under £90 and had a good look round the car for any problems too. Ok so I didn't need a lot looking at but a labour cost of just under £40 an hour is pretty helpful. Revolution specialise in sporty cars so I`m happy they are not just monkeys who can't wait to razz round the back-streets ("it needed a road test" - yeah, right). They are very friendly and offered a brew, and you can see the mechanics through a window into the garage and watch them work They also have a LOT of alloys in stock which is nice for a bit of window shopping. Oh and they quoted under £250 for the labour to change my clutch and fly http://www.revolution247.com/erol.html Nice one lads, I said I`d tell everyone I was happy with the job
  17. A man was sitting in the bar in departures at a busy airport. A beautiful woman walks in and sits down at the table next to him. So he decides because she's got a uniform on, she's probably an off-duty flight attendant. So he decides to have a go at picking her up by identifying the airline she flies for, thereby impressing her greatly. He leans across to her and says the Delta Airlines motto 'We love to fly and it shows'. The woman looks at him blankly. He sits back and thinks up another line. He leans forward again and delivers the Air France motto 'Winning the hearts of the world'. Again she just stares at him with a slightly puzzled look on her face. Undeterred, he tries again, this time saying the Malaysian Airlines motto 'Going beyond expectations'. The woman looks at him sternly and says 'What the f*** do you want?' 'Ah!' he says, sitting back with a smile on his face......'Ryanair '
  18. I had this once and it was that they had found a car somewhere else, burnt out but with my plates. They pretty much know it's not yours but they do check with you.
  19. I agree, that's well worth a look. Engines can rev fine under no load but the spark can break down under heavy load. Whip out a plug and take a look at it, they really shoudl all be changed at 50K but they will be getting crappy at about 40K.
  20. Saw one at a dealer for 17K, low mileage but the gearbox was like a bag of spanners in a tumble-drier. Dealer could not find paperwork so left it there. Tried to buy a private black then a private chilli but way too late. Ended up buying an Azure GT with 26K for a bit under £16K (yeah well that was when they were worth more than they are now!). Lovely, except a few interior scratches.
  21. Mine has exactly the same problem, although I`ve only gone as far as looking at the alignment, I fitted new tyres but that made no difference. I find it depends on the road and is affected by the camber more than anything, although I have a *slight* pull to the lefty under *very* heavy breaking (I have to fight it to the right a little). I did wonder if I had a very slightly sticky brake on the left but having changed pads and discs thsi wasn't the case. I just live with it!
  22. I average just under 30mpg so that's 500 miles per tank, although I rarely run it as low as I did that time. On the 95 it was about 2mpg less. If you calculate that the 97 fuel costs about 4p more per litre it makes the price per mile nearly a penny less. Um, ish. Not scientificly accurate but near enough that i don't bother with the cheap stuff :0
  23. I wish your business was in the north east! Shame you are so far away, I so need that sort of tlc on my Z.
